Research On The Musical Works And Interpretations Of Independent Musician Qi Zitan

As popular music prospers and innovates in recent years,independent musicians,namely fresh blood injected into the Chinese music circle,thus allow a sea of excellent music works to spring up like mushrooms.The development of independent music mutually complements independent musicians and independent music works.Taking independent music as penetrating point,this thesis centers on music works of independent musician Zitan Qi,and tries to summarize Chinese independent music-pop songs relationship based on analysis on the status of Chinese independent music.The analysis on the music works of Zitan Qi,an independent music representative,inspires pop music learners to know pop music again and improve their proficiency in music creation and music work performance.The first chapter briefs the status of independent music in popular music,the author's thinking of Chinese independent music and profile of musician Zitan Qi.The second chapter presents an in-depth analysis on creation source,musical form structure,mode and tonality,musical instrument arrangement of Zitan Qi's partial works.The third chapter analyzes Zitan Qi's performing characteristics on the basis of Zitan Qi's singing techniques and performance methods.
