The Creative Style And Teaching Exploration Of Zhang Chao's Piano Piece "Ballet"

Zhang Zhao is a nationally-known composer and pianist.Most of his piano works are based on national and folk music materials,inherited and innovated with the combination of western composing techniques.He created a large number of excellent piano works with strong Chinese music style,which plays an significant role in promoting Chinese piano music.The research of Zhang Zhao's piano music— the Ballad — in this paper is mainly conducted from the following aspects.The first chapter is a brief introduction of Zhang Zhao and the Ballad,which would give the readers an initial understanding of the composer and the background of the Ballad,with the introduction of Zhnag Zhao's lifetime,the brilliant music composed by him,and the background of the Ballad.The second chapter theoretically analyzed the composing style of the Ballad from four angles,including the musical form,the harmonic,materials of Chinese national music in the music theme,and the imitation of timbre of national instrument.It is obviously to tell the characteristics of Chinese style music element from these four angles,which makes the Ballad carry a deeper taste of Chinese music.The third chapter discusses the teaching of skills and performances,and the understanding of music thought in the Ballad from two aspects.Firstly,the teaching was discussed mainly from the singing quality of the melody,the flexible motion of fingers,the rhythm and speed,and the use of pedal.Secondly,this chapter explored the teaching of the Ballad from the connection of skills and art,and the understanding of music themes.The fourth chapter is to reconsider the teaching of the Ballad in this paper,by concluding the key and difficult points,and the teaching significance.This paper sorted out Zhang Chao's lifeline and his composing characteristics,expounded the spirit of Wang Er Xiao's Anti-Japanese story,analyzed the work background,composing style,teaching exploration of performance skills,teaching reflection,as well as the educational significance of the teaching on the Ballad.Thus,this paper provided various angles for better understanding and performing the Ballad,and could be a reference for the teaching of this work.
