Piano is an "imported product" introduced from the West.In the early days of its introduction into China,Chinese composers made a series of hard explorations in order to create Chinese piano works with their own national characteristics. And Mr.Li Yinghai’s Chinese piano piece "Flute and Drum in the Sunset",which is based on ancient Chinese music and silk and bamboo ensemble music, has attracted widespread attention in various fields of the music industry once it was published. The birth of this work has made people start to think about the piano playing method that is in line with the Chinese style and the music creation method combined with the Chinese cultural background, which has pioneering and national research value. This paper conducts teaching research from three parts. The first chapter introduces the origin of the work, the composer’s life, and the creative background, and requires a macro control of the overall tone of the work. The second chapter analyzes the Chinese style of the work through three parts: cultural rhythm, national musical instruments and loose tempo. The third chapter separates the main piano performance skills involved in the works and explains them one by one.Combined with the content of the second chapter,he expresses his views on how to show the characteristics of Chinese folk music on the piano by taking specific fragments of the works as examples.I hope to communicate and discuss with you in this article,so as to provide a certain reference for the better interpretation and inheritance of Chinese music on the piano.
