Analysis Of The Musical Style And Performance Of Prokofiev's Fifth Piano Sonata, Op.135

Sergei sergeyevich Prokofiev is an outstanding pianist and composer who has made great contributions to the rapid development of Russian music culture.On the basis of classical music,his works have added their own personalized development,forming modernist music.The creation of Piano Sonata is the longest among all Prokofiev’s music works."The fifth piano sonata" was created abroad.Prokofiev made some modifications and adjustments to this work before his death,changing the work number from Op.38 to op.135.It can be seen that Prokofiev is very concerned about this "the fifth piano sonata".Through the exploration and analysis of the creative background,musical style and performance skills of the fifth piano sonata,this paper expounds Prokofiev’s musical creative style.The author expounds how to solve the technical problems encountered in playing the work and how to grasp the music style.
