Prokofiev was one of the most outstanding musicians of the 20th century and produced nume rous excellent pianos.His nine Piano Sonatas were one of his most representative pieces of music which throughout his creating career,reflected the comparison characteristics of the music works i n different periods and witness the transition and final formation of his create style from the instab le prime to maturity.And the "Second Piano Sonata in d minor" is his representative works in the shift era of his creating career,regressed classical form at the same time,also broke through the cr eation of the romantic features,developed a piano performance of percussion and a unique" tappin g "playing techniques.This article try to explore the compositional style of Prokofiev’s masterpiece "Second Piano Sonata in d minor" according to analyze the work’s background,specific property and technique t o demonstrate his inheritance of classical creative thinking as well as the innovation and breakthro ugh,and combined with their own learning and playing process to summarize the artistic features of the piano sonata.I hoped that this article can provide some reference value for the teaching and playing of the piano modern works in the future.
