Practical Report On Russian To Chinese Translation Of Novel Collection "Difficult Love"

In recent years,with the development of global integration,the Chinese and Russian governments have paid great attention to the cultural exchanges between the two sides,and cultural exchanges between the peoples of the two countries have also begun to become more and more frequent.It is said that language is the bridge between humans to communicate with the hearts and minds,and so are literary works.Knowing each other's language and reading each other's literary works are the basis for understanding each other's minds and for mutual understanding and trust.This translation practice report is selected from the collection of novels Tough Love by the Russian writer Ekaterina Vasilievna Mikheeva.She is a middle school teacher who has published three books and translated one novel.Her works are loved by readers in the Chelyabinsk region.This collection of novels is composed of seven short stories,telling about the changes and influences on Russian family relationships,love and character formation due to war and other reasons.It tells the difficulties of“love” in times of war.There is currently no translation of this collection of novels in China.This translation report mainly discusses the difficulties and solutions encountered by the translator in the process of translating The collection of novels Tough Love into Chinese,and gives some examples for argumentative analysis.Translation methods such as sentence segmentation,augmented translation,subtracted translation,antonymous translation,and figures of speech such as metaphor and personification were used in the translation process.Through this translation practice,the translator has accumulated a lot of translation experience,mastered translation skills,and improved her own translation ability.The translator hopes that everyone will have a certain understanding of Mikheeva's works and contribute to the study of Mikheeva's works by providing one insight into the author's work.
