| Youth are the most active and energetic force in the entire society.The hope of the country lies in the youth,and the future of the nation lies in the youth.Youth work serves as a bridge and link for political parties to connect and serve young people.The effectiveness of political party youth work is related to the survival of the party's life and also affects the construction and development of a country.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has made a series of important expositions on how to do a good job in youth work,profoundly clarifying the important position of the party's youth work in the overall situation of the party's cause.The strategy of sustainable national development highly emphasizes the importance of doing the party's youth work well.Taiwan is an inalienable part of China.The healthy development of youth in Taiwan is also related to the future of the motherland.The current development and future trends of the youth work of political party in Taiwan are worthy of our attention and grasp.As one of the main political parties in Taiwan,the DPP has experienced 35 years of development and evolution in its youth work,and has formed a relatively mature and distinctive youth work system.From the perspective of historical characteristics,the natural attraction of the DPP to the younger generation is in stark contrast with the continued sluggishness of the Kuomintang's attractiveness among young people.Although the Kuomintang continues to exert its efforts on important issues that young people pay attention to.However,it is difficult to change the reality of young people as the "natural ticket warehouse" of the DPP.Judging from the actual results,in the past two elections of leaders in Taiwan in 2016 and 2020,the DPP won an absolute majority of votes among the youth groups.The rooted influence of the DPP in the youth group cannot be separated from its long-term and deep cultivation of youth work,and it is also inseparable from its adeptness in updating and adjusting the youth work line in accordance with the phased characteristics of the development of the times.But at the same time,we should also clearly see that the DPP is unscrupulous in promoting its erroneous program policies,especially the "Taiwan independence" ideas,to the youth and people in Taiwan.From the perspective of one-party selfishness,it seems quite "successful."
