"The problem is the heart of mathematics," Halmos said.Since the 1980s,problem-solving has become a trend of international mathematics education.Many mathematics education researchers put forward the corresponding teaching mode of problem-solving based on the research of problem-solving.Nearly 20 years after mathematics curriculum standards for compulsory education has been implemented in China,how about the application of problem-solving theory in junior high school mathematics teaching?This paper will carry out investigation and application research.In the research,literature research method,classroom observation method,interview method and case studies method are mainly used.The main content is divided into the following three parts:Firstly,the researcher tried to define the relevant concepts of problem-solving teaching,understand the development process of problem-solving teaching at home and abroad,learn and analyze the relevant research results by reading a large number of relevant literature,in order to lay a theoretical foundation for the research.Secondly,the researcher carried out a two-month classroom observation in a junior middle school in Yangzhou City and recorded the classroom observation results through the classroom observation scale,then used SPSS software to sort out and analyze the data of the classroom observation scale,combined with the interview results of students and teachers,in order to understand the current situation of problem-solving teaching in the junior middle school,and further analyze the causes of the current situation.Finally,based on the investigation and analysis of the current situation,combined with the relevant literature of problem-solving teaching,the researcher tried to put forward two kinds of problem-solving teaching design process.One is the problem-solving teaching process applicable to concept class and theorem class:creating situation,putting forward problems;independent or cooperative exploration,trying to solve mathematical problems;variable expansion and application;summary and reflection.The other is the problem-solving teaching process applicable to exercise class:class practice,putting forward problems;essential analysis,finding problems;typical demonstration,analyzing problems;consolidating practice,solving problems;summary and reflection.Based on the content of the "circle" chapter in junior high school,the researcher carried out the research of teaching design based on the teaching mode of problem-solving for the concept class,the theorem class and the exercise class.The design of junior high school mathematics teaching based on problem-solving can not only enable students to observe and analyze problems in real life with mathematical thinking mode,gradually enhance the ability of problem-solving,but also mobilize students'interest in learning and enthusiasm for active exploration,and cultivate students' innovation awareness and practical ability.
