At present,according to the requirements of the curriculum standards,different versions of junior high school chemistry textbooks follow the spiral arrangement,that is,the content of the textbook is presented to students from easy to difficult,simple to complex.But,in the long teaching practice,due to the examination background,class time constraints and other reasons,teachers mostly adopt linear teaching.This kind of teaching mode increases the difficulty of students' knowledge integration,and affects students' learning efficiency and results to a certain extent.Therefore,this study will take sodium and its compounds as examples to conduct a practical research of the spiral teaching mode,and explore whether appropriate spiral teaching can improve students' learning results or not within a certain range,and then put forward better methods and suggests for spiral teaching.This article is divided into six parts:Part ?-Introduction:clarify the background of this research on the basis of curriculum standard requirements,actual teaching requirements,and students' self-development needs,then introduce the basic content of the purpose and significance,research objects and content,research methods etc.After summarizing the analysis of the development of domestic and abroad about spiral curriculum through literature research,extracting effective information to lay a solid theoretical foundation for this research.Part ?-Theoretical Research:By referring to relevant literature,the concept of spiral teaching is defined,and the characteristics,goals,and implementation principles of spiral teaching are also explained.At the same time,the theoretical basis of this study—the recent development zone theory and the theory of cognitive development concept were explained in detail.Part ?-Research on content cohesion:To understand the requirements of curriculum standards on metals and their compounds.In addition,the Na,Al and Fe in the junior and senior high school chemistry textbooks of Luke edition were analyzed in detail from the three aspects of spiral quantity——spiral time arrangement and spiral content so as to summarize and analyze the arrangement of senior high school chemistry content of Luke edition.Part ?-Practice survey and case design:On the basis of defining the research theme and object and determining the steps of investigation and research,this paper makes an investigation and research on the present situation of spiral teaching in chemistry teaching in senior high school.,use SPSS25 to analyze the reliability and validity of student questionnaires and teacher questionnaires.At the same time use pie charts to analyze the data of the teacher questionnaires and the student questionnaires.And based on the research of content cohesion and practical investigation,the design of spiral teaching cases is carried out.Part ?-Research on Teaching Practice:According to the practical exploration,and the relevant post test data,the author makes a reflection and summary of the spiral teaching results.But it will take longer practice and exploration to test the more far-reaching effects of spiral teaching.Based on the practice and data analysis in this part,it can be preliminarily considered that targeted spiral teaching of relevant content is effective,which can improve students' learning outcomes to a certain extent.Part ?-Research Summary:Summarizing the practical research of spiral teaching and draw four conclusions:First,appropriate educational theory can effectively guide spiral teaching;Second,it is feasible and effective to implement spiral teaching according to the actual situation;Third,helping students to develop good study habits can greatly improve the effect of spiral teaching;Fourth,using multimedia environment for innovative teaching can provide methods and means for spiral teaching.After the conclusion,put forward the reflection and prospect.The research results show that on the basis of students 'cognitive development,timely implementation of spiral teaching based on the spiral arrangement of content can effectively improve students' chemical performance.However,due to the short time of the practical research and the small number of practical samples,the results of the practical research need to be further verified and improved.
