A Practical Research Of Grief Counseling For Elderly Bereavement By Case Study Of T Community In Beijing

With the development of the times and the progress of social work profession,social work services focusing on the spiritual field of the elderly are gradually increasing,and social workers may encounter the death of relatives and friends of the elderly during the service process.Therefore,it is of great research value to explore how to use the methods and skills of social work profession to alleviate the sadness of the elderly group.But looking at the existing research results,there are more studies on widows,bereavement and children of the elderly,and there is a very lack of studies focusing on the elderly's bereavement.Under the background that the government vigorously promotes the comprehensive,coordinated and sustainable development of the cause of aging,how to help the elderly through the professional intervention of social workers is a problem worth studying and discussing.This study was carried out relying on the "Heart Bridge Plan" of the public welfare project,taking an elderly case in T community of Beijing as the research object,and exploring the practical method of social work case work intervention in elderly bereavement guidance.Social workers intervene through long-term case services.Through service intervention,the service object finally recovers from it,returns to normal life,and the intervention goal is basically achieved.From the perspective of social support theory and social activity theory,this study uses the method of practical research to conduct research,connect research,action,reflection and evaluation,and reflect on and summarize the action course of this grief counseling for elderly bereaved friends.Firstly,the crisis intervention model is used to intervene in the psychological crisis of the service objects,to eliminate their guilt by clarifying the accident responsibility,to alleviate their fear by carrying out sadness counseling,and to alleviate their anxiety by strengthening family support.Secondly,the psychosocial treatment model is used to restore and improve the psychological conditions of the service objects,and to improve their physiological problems by learning health knowledge.Through the development of life review to alleviate their psychological problems,through strengthening social support,optimize the social environment.Among them,sadness counseling in the psychological crisis intervention stage is mainly divided into six stages,which are comprehensive evaluation,trust building,expressing emotional memory,effectiveness evaluation,and timely ending sadness counseling.By summarizing the service process,the effective service skills in the service are summarized into the following five points: support and encouragement,emotional guidance,exploration,self-disclosure and environmental change.Through reflecting on the whole practical process,there are two main findings.Firstly,the level of grief emotions of the elderly bereaved group is closely related to individual characteristics,resilience,intimacy and death,and several preliminary screening and evaluation indicators of the high grief group are summarized.Secondly,social workers combine the direct service role with the indirect service role in the grief counseling of elderly bereaved friends,in which the support is the key role in the direct service process,and the continuous psychological support is given to the elderly grief group,while the intermediary broker and management coordinator are the key roles in the indirect service process.Link community,institution and other external resources for the elderly sad group.
