Research Progress Of Chinese Sports Translation

In recent years,with the development of large-scale domestic and international sports activities,the demand for sports translation is constantly increasing.Sports translation is facing many opportunities and challenges.How to train sports translation talents and improve the quality of translation has been concerned by the academic community.With the increase of relevant research,it is increasingly important and urgent to analyze the research results in this field.While fully affirming the great contribution of predecessors to the research of sports translation in China,it is necessary to analyze the research results as a whole,examine and reflect on the existing problems,so as to provide ideas and references for the future research of sports translation.Based on Cite Space,sati and Java,this paper uses bibliometrics and analytical methods to analyze 589 existing literatures on China knowledge network,and to grasp the current situation and laws of translation research in China as a whole.The results are as follows: 1)in terms of time distribution,the volume of sports translation research in China has been fluctuating and rising in the past 40 years.In addition,from the linear trend of the volume of sports translation research,it is predicted that it will continue to rise in the future.1)In terms of time distribution,the volume of papers published in sports translation research in China has fluctuated and increased in the past 40 years.In addition,the linear trend of papers is predicted to continue to increase in the future.2)In terms of the strength of the research subjects,the overall amount of sports translation research authors' publications is relatively low,and their research lacks sustainability from the perspective of the evolution of high-yielding people,and they are still a very young team from the perspective of the age of scholars.From the perspective of the types of research institutions,the research on Sports translation is mainly concentrated in sports colleges and some foreign language,normal and comprehensive colleges,and mainly distributed in the eastern and central regions with better economic strength.In China,the fund support for sports translation research started late,but on the whole,it is on the rise,and there is a positive correlation between fund support and the amount of published papers.In China,sports translation research literature journals are widely distributed,but the distribution of core journals is less,and the classification of sports translation journals in journals is relatively vague.3)In terms of cooperation network,there are few scientific research cooperation groups in the field of sports translation research in China,and the degree of cooperation between scholars is not high.Most of the scholars are still independent,and there is no stable cooperation team between scholars and authors.The inter-agency cooperation mainly manifested in the general cooperation between high-yield institutions and low-yield institutions,as well as the weak cooperation between low-yield institutions,and failed to form stable research cooperation relationships.4)The main themes of sports translation researchare sports news translation research,college sports translation talents training and curriculum,sports translation and international communication research,sports translation theory research and sports translation status research.The stage features are as follows:At the initial stage of development,the research content is single and the development is slow.There are various research contents in the rapid development stage.In the in-depth study stage,the correlation between the studies increased significantly.5)In terms of cutting-edge trends,future research on sports translation will continue to focus on the themes of "sports news","martial arts terminology","translation strategies" and "sports English" in a more detailed direction.In addition to the study of martial arts terms,classics,and culture,other sports events and activities will be new research hotspots,and the choice of other languages other than English will also be a new research direction in the future.
