Learning has become an important part in human society.The progress of the human society needs everyone constantly self-improvement.Therefor the efficiency and quality of learning has become an important issue,which has a close relationship with approaches,methods and means.Under the background of information age and the education view,the applications of digitally visual media and visualization technology have thrived for many years-lots of technologies and products have been widely used in various fields,such as media,teaching,digital art,even including education settings.However,it seems all these have failed to improve human learning performance qualitatively,and those new problems appearing constantly,such as the concerns on digital reading,fragmented learning.In the new version of national curriculum standard,students' abilities that are different with those before,are highlighted,such as cognizing and thinking generatively,diversely knowing and calculating,putting forward and solving the problems,learning in real life with the exploring questions.And it emphasizes on "learning as the center"and "quality" of consciousness rather than the master of knowledge and skills.The new mathematics teaching material according to "New curriculum standard" also focused on thinking and teaching by the operation significance,on doing it kept close with students' life.In fact this is a challenge to old way to do.From the perspective of learning,it means to lead students try to discover knowledge,make them being able to achieve flexible migration,using knowledge to solve the problem.In fact is based on the concept of cognitive and thinking on the first.This means that the information from sense organ and the cognition and thought based on concepts should be put on top position.And this is also the key points for visualization technologies' design and application.Visualization technologies can be categorized as two types of "schematic"and "analytic" presentation.It is helpful for students to combine these two types of visualization-these can active the brain functions of visual and language so that students might have a good proficiency in memory,conceptualization and logicality with better possibility.This research focuses on the phenomenon of the shallow and inefficient learning.It aims at helping learners complete better the learning goals.Research tries to find a way of visualizing knowledge to guide the process of presenting and learning for learners so that students can learn more in-depth and productively.In this research some theories have been analyzed such as "knowledge","visualization","deep learning" and different "learning theories",which are the basis of new program of visualizing presentation.Next the program was used in the process of middle school students learning equation application,and an approach to measure the result was produced.The process went in two class for two semester,including three steps of perception,understanding and practice as well as application that can help them gain the schematic method.See chapter 2,3 and 4.There are many results and discoveries.The designed visual knowledge representation was been considered helpful very much and showed a positive effect to some students.The visual representation can help students to understand problem situations better,to think in a form of correlative structure,then making a deeper learning.But it is not the only conditions to make visualization design helpful to study results-it needs appropriate teaching and sufficient guidance from teacher,and more time to make learners grasp and use it as well as the designed visual forms oriented specific subject.The data analysis suggests that the comparing and classifying to objects is the elemental mental operation during deep learning;and the way to gain by imitating deserves a futher research.See chapter 5.Visual representation of the application should have the starting point of learners'own situation,and been finished from design based on learning contents.CSK general semantic types are helpful on it.More targeted and systematic visual representation tool suite might be a necessary tools in specific learning phase.During the process there is a key point that is to understand and grasp the concepts and relations,which visualizing design can play a helpful roles by combining the two visualizing types' advantage-especially when leaning procedural knowledge which co-works with language proficiency.See chapter 6.The basic ideas of CSK is to bridge between environment and learner,and visual learning style on this path can be a means by different operability inside or outside.In e-Learning environment,the visualization technology can play a role synergistically in learning.Visualization leaning way that is based on cognitive principle and learning science may be have more profound effect for learning.
