Adaptive learning is a research hotspot in the field of pedagogy in recent years.There are many different explanations about its concept.In short,adaptive learning refers to a way that learners can achieve personalized learning according to their own learning style and learning level through specific tools.Adaptive learning platform is a tool that can help learners realize personalized learning.With the development of adaptive learning technology,various types of adaptive learning products have emerged in China.Paying attention to the acceptance of adaptive learning products by student groups is of great significance for understanding the application status of adaptive learning products and improving the educational quality of adaptive learning products.Therefore,this study takes squirrel AI as an example to study the acceptance of adaptive learning products by middle school students.Specifically,this study aims to achieve three goals:(1)build a special model for the acceptance of adaptive learning products for middle school students;(2)develop a special scale for the acceptance of adaptive learning products for middle school students;(3)put forward some suggestions to improve the acceptance of users.The main work of this study is as follows: through literature research,the concept of adaptive learning and acceptance is defined.Based on the theory of rational behavior,value acceptance model and technology acceptance model,the theoretical model of adaptive learning product acceptance of middle school students is preliminarily constructed,and relevant assumptions are put forward.Then,with reference to Davis(1984)classic scale and related literature,combined with the specific characteristics of squirrel AI,a questionnaire was developed from seven aspects: platform basic feature,system adaptability,offline service,perceived usefulness,perceived ease of use,perceived value and behavioral intention,and was distributed to squirrel AI counseling institutions in S area.After collecting the data,structural equation model was used in amos21.0 to test the quality of theoretical model and modify it appropriately.Then spss21.0 was used for descriptive statistical analysis and difference analysis to understand the current acceptance of squirrel AI in middle school students.After Amos test and analysis,most of the hypotheses are confirmed.The specific conclusions are as follows:(1)perceived usefulness,perceived value and offline service can directly affect behavioral intention,among which offline service can affect behavioral intention by affecting perceived usefulness and perceived value,and perceived usefulness can affect behavioral intention by perceived value.(2)The platform basic features and the system adaptability can affect the behavioral intention by affecting the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use.(3)Perceived usefulness has the highest impact on behavioral intention,followed by offline service and perceived value.(4)The learning frequency of users using electronic devices will positively affect users' perceived ease of use,offline service recognition and behavioral intention.Whether users voluntarily choose to study in offline tutoring institutions will affect users' perceived usefulness,offline service recognition,perceived value and behavioral intention.In summary,this study puts forward several suggestions to improve user acceptance based on the analyzed problems,as follows:(1)Improving the learner's perceived usefulness from the level of interest,system functions,and software facilities;(2)Improve the perceived value of learners by improving the perceived pleasure of users and optimizing offline services.Through the above strategies,it is hoped that middle school students will increase their willingness to use the adaptive learning platform,improve the education quality of adaptive learning products,and promote the good development of adaptive learning.
