As the leader of the school,the principal represents the school externally and is responsible to the whole school internally.Whether a principal has moral leadership is of vital importance to the development of teachers and the survival and development of schools.According to the modern school management view,school management aims to promote the development of people in the organization,but cannot be simply regarded as a means to promote smooth operation.Teacher job satisfaction is not only an important dependent variable of the principal's moral leadership,but also one of the factors that promote the improvement of school effectiveness and enhance the quality of talent cultivation.The research on the relationship between the moral leadership of principals and the job satisfaction of teachers and the mechanism of action will have a profound impact on the personal development of principals and even the school.Flexible consideration of the promotion of principals' moral leadership to improve teachers' job satisfaction,and finally achieve the long-term development of school practice.The study took 300 teachers from 10 primary and secondary schools in five cities of Shandong Province were selected as the research subjects for a questionnaire survey.The relationship between principals' moral leadership and teachers' job satisfaction was investigated,and 12 teachers were interviewed.Through analysis,the following research conclusions are drawn.Primary and secondary school teachers have an above-average perception of the moral leadership of principals,Teachers' job satisfaction is in the middle level.The scores of each dimension of principal moral leadership from high to low are moral quality,professional accomplishment ability,moral motivation,moral awareness and human-oriented.The scores of each dimension of teacher's job satisfaction from high to low are external job satisfaction internal job satisfaction and general job satisfaction.There are significant differences in each dimension of the principal's moral leadership and teacher's job satisfaction between the teacher's gender,age,teaching age,education background,school location and the type of school.There are significant positive correlations between principal moral leadership and teacher job satisfaction in eight dimensions.All dimensions of principal moral leadership can predict and influence teacher job satisfaction.Teachers' perception of the principal's moral leadership in all dimensions is relatively high.In addition,it is found in the interview of the relationship between principal moral leadership and teachers' job satisfaction that principal moral leadership can have an impact on teachers' internal job satisfaction,external job satisfaction and general job satisfaction.This also supports the results of data analysis.Combined with the results of data analysis and the content of interviews,this paper puts forward five Suggestions for improving the moral leadership of principals:(1)Improve personal character and moral consciousness,and guide management behavior with morality.(2)Establish the concept of human-oriented.(3)Give more humanistic care to teachers.(4)Create a Shared vision and provide direction for development.(5)Carry out research on moral leadership actively.
