Analysis Of The Offensive And Defensive Capabilities Of The Guangdong Team In The 2019-2020 CBA Playoffs

The 2019-2020 season CBA playoffs will be played on July 31,2020.The first two rounds of the playoffs will be changed to a single-game elimination system.The semifinals and finals will adopt a two-win-of-three system.Before the regular season The four first-round byes have intensified competition between the teams,adding confrontation and appreciation to the game.After fierce competition,the Guangdong team successfully defended the championship.This is also its 10 th championship trophy.Therefore,the offensive and defensive capabilities of the Guangdong team in the game have become the focus of research by many experts and scholars.This article is based on the offensive and defensive technical indicators of the Guangdong team and the opponents(Beijing and Liaoning)in the semi-finals and finals of the 2019-2020 season playoffs,using documentary data,video observation,mathematical statistics,logical analysis,and RSR Comprehensive evaluation method and TOPSIS analysis method compare the offensive and defensive capabilities of Guangdong team and its opponents,try to explore the performance of Guangdong team on offensive and defensive ends,find out the advantages and disadvantages of Guangdong team,and put forward theories for the development of Guangdong team offensive and defensive capabilities It also provides a theoretical reference for the development of the Chinese men’s basketball team.The results of the study are as follows:1.In terms of physical quality,the overall physical quality of players of Guangdong Team has certain advantages compared with its opponents.The age structure is reasonable,and the rotation of new and old players is smooth.In different positions,the overall physical quality of the guard is weak;Strikers and center forward physical quality is stronger than opponents;Foreign aid Weimus physical quality is more excellent.2.In terms of offensive ability: Guangdong team scored 105.2 points per game,4.9 points higher than the opponent;The free throw ability was weak,and the free throw hit rate was significantly different from the opponent(p < 0.05).The ability to grab the frontcourt rebound,the second attack ability,the ability to fast break and the ability to use the opponent’s mistakes to score strong.In different positions,the shooting ability of the guard is poor,and there is a very significant difference with the opponent(p < 0.01);The attacking ability of the forwards was strong,and there was a significant difference between each index and the opponents(p < 0.01).The center’s free throw ability was poor,and the number of shots per game was significantly higher than that of opponents(p < 0.01).3.Defensive ability: Guangdong team allowed 100.3 points per game,4.9 points lower than the opponent;Protecting the backcourt rebounds and blocking advantages;Average 2.7 more fouls per game than opponents.In different positions,the ability of guard to protect the backcourt rebound is weak,and there is a very significant difference with the opponent(P < 0.01);The ability of blocking shot and rebounding in the backcourt of the forwards was stronger than that of the opponents(P < 0.01).The ability of center to protect backcourt rebound was weak,and there was significant difference between center and opponent(P < 0.05).4.Using TOPSIS analysis method,it can be concluded that the attack CI value,defense CI value and offense and defense CI value of Guangdong team are all greater than 0.5,which indicates that Guangdong team is a team with strong overall offense and defense ability.In different positions,Guangdong team striker attack and defense ability is strong;Defensive and defensive abilities of guard and center were weak,and the order of CI of different positions was forward(0.7094),guard(0.3621)and center(0.3017).5.Using RSR comprehensive evaluation method,Guangdong team’s overall offensive and defensive ability is stronger than its opponents.The offensive RSR was 0.81,ranking the first place with A;The RSR of defense was 0.73,ranking the second with the rank of B.In terms of comprehensive offense and defense,RSR of offense and defense was 0.83,ranking first with grade A.6.In terms of player efficiency value(PER value): the average player efficiency value of Guangdong team is higher than that of its opponents.The polarization trend of opponents’ players’ efficiency value is obvious,which reflects that the overall comprehensive athletic ability of Guangdong team is stronger than that of its opponents and the depth of the squad is deeper.
