Computational thinking,as one of the core disciplines in the "High School Information Technology Curriculum Standards",and practical thinking and theoretical thinking are called the three scientific thinking.However,as an important support for cultivating middle school students' computational thinking,information technology courses still adopt traditional teaching methods.After a long period of teaching practice,the Case Based Learning has been found to be beneficial to cultivating students' ability to analyze and solve problems.This article attempts to introduce the Case Based Learning into the middle school information technology teaching.Based on the literature research,some cases are selected for case design,and a network teaching platform is built to integrate the cases and apply them to actual teaching to verify the teaching effect..This article mainly conducts the following research:1.Analyze relevant research trends by searching relevant documents,and explain the theoretical knowledge of computational thinking,the Case Based Learning,etc.,explore the connotation of computational thinking,and analyze the characteristics of Case Based Learning.Based on this,it is proposed that a network teaching platform based on the Case Based Learning can be used to cultivate students' computational thinking,and the feasibility of applying the Case Based Learning to computational thinking training is analyzed.2.According to the characteristics of the case in the Case Based Learning,the preliminary preparation of the case design was carried out,including the selection of some knowledge points in the high school information technology curriculum and the analysis of the learners.Then,the case design is based on the Case Based Learning,the content and purpose of the case teaching are analyzed,and the case is realized based on the Geogebra website.3.In order to better integrate the Case Based Learning with the computer network,firstly,the characteristics,functions and existing shortcomings of the existing network teaching platform are analyzed,and the development principle of the network teaching platform based on the Case Based Learning is determined,based on the development Principles of database design and module design and realization of network teaching platform.4.Apply the network teaching platform based on the Case Based Learning to actual teaching,divide students into experimental groups and control groups with no significant difference,perform pre-test and post-test respectively,and analyze the data results obtained.Research shows that the students in the experimental group showed great interest in the classroom under the Case Based Learning,and the students in the experimental group were significantly better than the students in the control group in terms of scores and understanding of computational thinking.According to the experimental results,the use of the network teaching platform based on the Case Based Learning for teaching is conducive to more intuitive teaching of abstract information technology knowledge to students,and plays a certain role in the cultivation of students' computational thinking.
