Computational thinking as a thinking activity that can use computational tools and methods to solve problems.Critical to the overall development and lifelong development of people.With the gradual deepening of research related to computational thinking.More and more researchers are aware of the importance of the development of computational thinking in the teaching of information technology courses.China's 2018 “Universal High School Information Technology Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)” lists computational thinking as one of the core literacy of information technology disciplines.It highlights the urgent need for high school information technology courses to cultivate computational thinking.At present,the relevant research on computational thinking in China is mainly concentrated in the university stage.There is still relatively little research on the development of computational thinking in high school.Moreover,the theoretical and practical research on computational thinking in high school information technology courses are in the exploration stage.There is no definitive and effective way to develop students' computational thinking skills in information technology teaching.Therefore,the research on the cultivation of computational thinking in the high school information technology curriculum needs to be further deepened.This article first through the relevant literature.A preliminary understanding of the current research status of computational thinking and gamification teaching at home and abroad.Summarize and analyze the theory of computational thinking and gamification teaching.And inspired from it to develop the corresponding research ideas and methods.From the perspective of computational thinking training,the analysis of the changes and teaching status of high school information technology courses and teaching,we found that some teachers have a lack of awareness in the development of computational thinking and boring training methods.It proves the suitability and feasibility of cultivating computational thinking in the high school information technology course by means of gamification teaching.Then the relevant theoretical analysis of gamification teaching.We affirm the value of gamification teaching in the cultivation of computational thinking.Clarify the advantages and disadvantages of this teaching method in the cultivation of computational thinking.And the principle of gamification teaching design based on computational thinking is proposed.on the basis of,based on the computational thinking perspective and the basic model of gamification teaching by Dr.Cynthia Selby and Dr.John Woollard of the University of Southampton.We constructed a gamification instructional design paradigm and case based on computational thinking.In the paradigm,the author effectively combines computational thinking with gamification teaching.We infiltrate the relevant methodsof computational thinking into gamification teaching.Achieving the goal of improving the level of computational thinking in the process of playing in a fun and educational way.Finally,the quasi-experimental research method is applied to the gamification teaching case based on computational thinking training in high school classroom teaching and the teaching effect is tested.Combine the results of the Computational Thinking Level Questionnaire with the final grade,I verify the validity of the instructional design paradigm from both the computational level of thinking and the level of achievement.The results show that the students in the experimental class have improved their computational thinking and academic performance.This paper advocates the integration of the five elements of computational thinking into the gamification teaching process.Achieve the motivation to stimulate and maintain the learner's learning enthusiasm and develop the learner's computational thinking ability.From the perspective of computational thinking,providing new ideas for the teaching design and implementation of high school information technology courses.This has certain reference significance.At the same time,this paper is also a new development in the integration of computational thinking theory and gamification teaching theory.It provides important inspiration and guidance for the design of gamification teaching mode for high school information technology courses.Contribute to the realization of computational thinking training in basic education of information technology.
