Mathematical operation is one of the core qualities of mathematics.It is the basic content of students' mathematics learning and the important content of mathematics teaching.Mathematical operation error is an important content in the process of mathematical operation,which can't be ignored in the teaching process.Research on high school students' mathematical operation errors can provide methods for students to reduce operation errors,and provide ideas for teachers to better implement mathematics teaching.This study selects students of a high school as the research object,through the test questions and questionnaires,mainly studies the following questions:(1)what types of high school students' operation errors in the function part?(2)How do students view their arithmetic errors?(3)How do teachers deal with students' arithmetic errors?Our main results are as follows.The main types of students' operational errors are as follows:(1)In understanding the operands,there are two kinds of errors:confusion with other operational objects and incomprehension of the corresponding rules of functions.(2)In mastering the calculations of rules,There are two different types of algorithm errors:algorithm recognition errors and mutual interference between algorithms.(3)When there are errors in the exploration of calculation ideas,there are two cases:the wrong understanding of properties leads to wrong ideas and the wrong analysis of function operation objects,ignoring the classification and discussion.(4)Due to arithmetic and incorrect writing,the calculation error occurred in solving the final operation results.Judging from the questionnaire,most of the students in the survey have good mathematical operation foundation.For the view of increasing the amount of calculation to improve the level of operation,the students who agree and disagree are quite the same.When encountering a problem with a large amount of calculation,some students tend to get the result directly by looking at the answer instead of calculating by themselves.Many students are failure to check carefully during calculations is an important reason for calculation errors.Most students think that calculation errors are a problem of attitude rather than lack of ability.Teachers attach great importance to the problem of students' operation errors,and will deal with the students' operation errors in time.In the teaching work,they have made full efforts to improve the students' mathematical operation and reduce the occurrence of operation errors.In view of the research results,we suggest the following solutions to effectively avoid operation errors:First,improve the ability to identify the object of operation.Second,grasp the nature of the object of operation.Third,strengthen the use of algorithms.Fourth,cultivate good study habits.Fifth,correct learning attitude.
