Since the concept of "social governance" was put forward at the Third Plenary Session of the 18 th CPC Central Committee,social governance,as a way of national governance,has gradually developed into an important focus of social governance by innovating governance methods,promoting the construction of governance system and improving governance level.In the report to the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),it was clearly stated that we should build a new pattern of social governance featuring joint contribution,joint governance and shared benefits.To construct a new pattern of social governance,it is necessary to mobilize and encourage the joint participation of diversified social forces.College students are the future of our country and the hope of our nation.The formation of college students' values will directly affect the value orientation of the whole society,and their social behaviors will also have an important impact on the process of social development.In the process of promoting the construction of social governance system and improving the governance ability,it is the top priority of ideological and political education for college students to further strengthen the ideological and political education of college students and encourage and support them to devote themselves to the cause of social governance and social construction.It is necessary to study the innovation of college students' ideological and political education from the perspective of social governance.This paper is divided into the following four parts.The first part clarifies the background,purpose and significance of exploring the innovation of ideological and political education of college students,the main research content and the research methods used,and completes the literature review of the domestic and foreign relevant research status,and puts forward the innovation of this paper.In the second part,the connotation and theoretical basis of social governance and ideological and political education for college students are elaborated.Based on the connotation,the common goal between them is discussed,as well as the relationship between value guidance and innovation development between them.In the third part,by analyzing the opportunities faced by ideological and political education of college students from the perspective of social governance,the author recognizes the problems existing in the current ideological and political education of college students,such as insufficient attention to social hot issues,relative lack of social practice,single education carrier,weak effectiveness and insufficient social support.In the fourth part,by exploring the conjunctive point between social governance and ideological and political education of college students,it is extended to realize the innovative development path of ideological and political education of college students by enriching education content,strengthening practice,innovating education carrier and constructing education pattern.In turn,it is conducive to cultivate more talents that fit the needs of social governance and social construction,fully demonstrate their role as auxiliary governance capabilities,and strive to achieve the goal of serving the whole society through college students' participation in social governance.
