Trust is not just an individual state of mind, but is also deeply rooted in every aspect of society, politically, economically and culturally,as a mechanism of operation. The development of media technology, represented by the Internet, has profoundly and irreversibly reshaped everything in real life, and the public service industry has not been left out.The emergence of online crowdfunding platforms such as "Easy Fundraising" and "Waterdrop Fundraising" in the midst of a mediated society has reshaped the way social resources are allocated with its low threshold, efficient dissemination and high interactivity. On the one hand, the barriers of subject limitation and information transfer no longer exist, carrying the hope of bridging the social divide;on the other hand, there are numerous incidents of fraudulent and deceptive donations, deepening the misconceptions and doubts about public welfare in the public's cognitive framework.Against the backdrop of deepening extreme modernity and ubiquitous risk, the world is undergoing the greatest change it has seen in a century, and trust has become the cornerstone of a functioning society and the key to human survival and livelihood. As a result, exploring the lack of trust in online crowdfunding platforms and rebuilding it has become a central issue for the public service industry. This study, based on both the sample and the validity of the findings,is based on the research of existing literature and trust theories.A multi-disciplinary and multi-dimensional concept of trust applicable to online public interest crowdfunding platforms is defined, which allows for the use of in-depth interviews to collect primary textual information to construct a case study. In the study, the theoretical dimensions of trustor, trustee, mediator, relationship and social context are the explanatory variables, where users' willingness to donate is used as the outcome variable, and fs/QCA 3.0 software is used to assign values to the variables being analysed, which allows for a qualitative comparative analysis based on fuzzy sets to be completed. The limitations of traditional quantitative and qualitative research were breached. The study points out that online public service crowdfunding platforms have developed a set of unique operation mode, however, the platform also interweaves multiple trust crises, such as interpersonal trust decay, systemic trust withering, emotional trust proliferation, calculative trust alienation and ineffective repair are connected in the platform. Therefore,it is necessary to promote the trust reconstruction in the network public welfare crowdfunding platform through pure relationship, rebuilding the authority of abstract system, rational "Distrust",digital trust and so on.
