The "General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" mentioned "social issues" six times,requiring students to consciously use the knowledge they have learned or seek relevant evidence to participate in the discussion of social issues,and be independent in the core literacy of chemistry.Set up the core literacy of "scientific attitude and social responsibility".Social science issues refer to social issues closely related to moral concepts,economic development and ecological environment caused by the development of contemporary science and technology.Its emergence provides a new teaching context for chemistry classrooms.The high school chemistry social science topic teaching based on project-based learning uses social science topics as the project content,guiding students to analyze,demonstrate,and make decisions on topics in a team.Based on this,this research combines project-based learning with social science topic teaching in order to provide a reference for frontline chemistry teachers.This research uses the literature research method to review and sort out the research content of project-based learning and social science topic teaching at home and abroad.Under the guidance of discovery learning theory,constructivism theory,and situational cognitive theory,it provides an analysis of the high school chemistry society based on project-based learning.The guiding ideology and teaching elements of the teaching of sexual science topics are analyzed,and on this basis,a high school chemistry social science topic teaching model based on project-based learning is constructed,and the specific process and design principles are explained.Select the three social science issues of "Is it reasonable for sulfur-containing substances to be used as food additives","Is it reasonable for Yinchuan cars to be restricted to drive in 2017",and "Disinfection and purification of tap water" in Chapter 4 of the compulsory high school chemistry of the People's Education Edition.In the preparation phase of the project,case design was carried out based on the five links of "preliminary understanding issues","specific analysis issues","cooperative discussion issues","scientific demonstration issues" and"objective decision issues" during project implementation.Selected a certain class of high school in Yinchuan City,Ningxia for teaching practice,combined with the teaching situation for project reflection,and evaluated the effect of project practice through questionnaire survey method and interview survey method.The research results show that the project-based learning of social science topics teaching cases are closely related to the actual life of students,which is conducive to stimulating students' interest in learning and learning initiative;through argumentation and decision-making on social science topics,students'argumentation can be effectively improved Ability and decision-making ability;project-based learning combined with social science topics for teaching helps to cultivate students' core qualities of"evidence reasoning and model cognition","scientific attitude and social responsibility",and help students establish correct values and moral concepts,with certain research value.
