The mathematics knowledge learned may be forgotten,but the thinking method mastered will benefit students all their lives(The Mathematics Curriculum Standard of Compulsory Education,2011 Edition)mentions the thoughts method in the curriculum idea and general goal,and emphasizes the importance of mathematics thoughts method in mathematics education.As one of the important mathematical thinking methods,equation thoughts have positive significance in students ’ analysis of quantitative relationship,establishment of quantitative relationship model and cultivation of students’ algebraic thinking.In the process of education and teaching,teachers need to face and solve the problem of how to implement the equation thoughts,better change students ’ thinking habits,and improve students ’ ability to solve problems by using the equation thoughts.Based on this,the thesis focuses on the current situation of the application of equation thoughts in the fifth grade mathematics teaching,adopts scientific and reasonable detection,analysis and evaluation methods to investigate and analyze the current situation of the application of equation thoughts,finds out the rationality and shortcomings,and seeks reasonable suggestions,which is conducive to promoting the implementation of equation thoughts from curriculum standard to teaching,It is helpful to provide reference for teachers to apply equation thoughts,help students change their habit of arithmetic thinking,and realize the leap from arithmetic thinking to algebraic thinking.On the basis of previous studies,this study uses the methods of text analysis,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics to study the application of equation thoughts in fifth grade mathematics teaching.This thesis is divided into the following parts.The first part is the introduction,including the research background,purpose,significance,methods and ideas.The second part is the literature review at home and abroad,mainly from the domestic and foreign mathematical thinking method and equation thoughts research four aspects of classification and elaboration,these studies laid an important theoretical foundation for this thesis.In many studies of equation thoughts,there are few studies on the application status of equation thoughts in practice.How to investigate and analyze the application status of equation thoughts and how to better implement the teaching of equation thoughts in teaching are the problems to be solved in this thesis.The third part is the definition of core concepts,including the definition of mathematical thinking method,equation and equation thoughts.The fourth part is the analysis of the thoughts of equation in the primary school mathematics textbook of people’s education press,summarizes the three characteristics of the thoughts of equation:(1)The thoughts of equation are mainly reflected in the field of number and algebra.(2)The arrangement of equation thoughts has its logical order and general steps.(3)The presentation form of equation thought is relatively fixed.The fifth part is the investigation and analysis of the current situation,with the understanding and application of equation thoughts in the fifth grade mathematics teaching as the theme of field investigation,using SPSS 21.0 to analyze the data,the investigation shows that students are interested in equation thoughts and can understand its importance,but students’ ability to solve problems with equation thoughts needs to be improved.Teachers should understand the importance of equation thoughts,consciously embody equation thoughts in teaching,pay attention to improving students’ ability to solve problems with various methods,and pay attention to teaching reflection.The sixth part is suggestions.According to the analysis of the current situation of the application of equation thoughts in the fifth grade mathematics teaching,this thesis puts forward some suggestions to improve the current equation thoughts teaching.(1)With the help of intuitive teaching and mathematical symbols,strengthen students ’ understanding of the meaning of the equation.(2)With the help of the relationship of “sum,difference,product and multiple”,improve the students’ ability to discover and analyze the equal relationship.(3)With the help of the nature of the equation and the relationship of each part of the four operations,improve students’ ability to solve the equation.(4)With the help of the teaching of inspection methods,cultivate students’ good inspection consciousness and habits.(5)With the help of typical examples or reverse thinking questions,cultivate students ’ awareness and habit of applying equation thinking.The seventh part is the research conclusion,and puts forward the research deficiencies and prospects.
