In order to carry out the educational policy in the new era and carry out the fundamental task of training youngsters with great virtue,the Ministry of Education has revised the curriculum plan and curriculum standard of ordinary high school.Among them,the General Senior High School Geography Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)puts forward the requirements of cultivating students' geography core literacy,which means that teachers' teaching should not only focus on knowledge and skills,but also give a full play to the educational value of geography from a professional perspective.Based on this background,Constructivist learning theory and system theory,this present study aims at constructing the design path of geography Unit in senior high school,through literature research,questionnaire survey and so on.It can enhance students' ability to solve practical problems,give a full play to the educational value of geography,and achieve geography core competence.By studying the theory and case design of Unit,this paper carries out the teaching case —— "Why Yong Shu Island was built and developed",and draws the following conclusions:Firstly,by doing literature review,the author finds that the research on the Unit design of geography in senior high school is inadequate,but the studying number is increasing,and the Unit design of subject fusion is v quite rare.Most of the researches of geography Unit design in senior high school manage to explain the background,meaning and necessity of Unit design,and point out the design path and design concrete practical cases,but it still lacks the test of teaching practice.On the other hand,most of the studies are designed only for a Unit,and lack of overall planning for all the contents of high school or a certain learning paragraph.Secondly,through the analysis of the questionnaire,is the author found that the front-line teachers in Guangxi generally lack understanding of Unit design,and rarely apply it to teaching practice.Most teachers support the application of Unit design in high school,but they face many difficulties.In the pre-test questionnaire for students,is the author found that a few students fail to catch their learning goals,grasp the key points and shows little knowledge about the main lines of the class before class.and the fragmentation of geographical knowledge is the biggest obstacle to learn geography,making it difficult to grasp the relationship between the whole knowledge content and separated knowledge.Most students agree that learning geography can help solve practical problems and agree to adopt cooperative inquiry method to learn geography.According to the results of the questions about core literacy,most students still have a shallow understanding of geographical core literacy.Finally,after implementing a Unit teaching,the author found that the students have a clearer understanding of the learning goals after the class.Applying Unit learning helps to solve dilemma students shown in geography learning,improve students' competence in cooperative learning,promote further learning,comprehend relation between chapter content and main line and solve practical problems etc.,which has done great favor in implementing core literacy of geography.Thirdly,based on the feasibility,applicability and extensibility of this study,the design path of constructing geography Unit in senior high school is constructed by the concept of reverse teaching design.In the specific analysis,through the elements of constructivist learning environment such as "situation" and "cooperation "," conversation" and "meaning construction ",the design concept of each link of Unit is expounded,and the whole construction idea of system theory is adopted.By doing this,the author hopes to design teaching cases from the perspective of curriculum position and overall vision.Through the practice of the teaching case of "Why Yong Shu Island was built and developed ",is the author found that the implementation of geography teaching in senior high school help the students have a clear understanding about their learning goals and evaluation tasks,making them students better comprehend the main line of knowledge and grasp the whole knowledge.At the same time,the author finds that there are some difficulties existing in practicing Unit teaching such as the difficulty of Unit design and the difficulty of teaching implementation.Finally,in view of the above difficulties,this paper puts forward some suggestions to improve teachers' ability to design large Units through authoritative training,and to plan the overall design of large Units of geography in senior high schools.Therefore,the purpose of this study is to enrich the relevant theories about the geography Unit of senior high school,and to provide a reference for the first-line senior high school geography teachers to design the path of senior high school geography Unit pointing to the core accomplishment.
