Teaching materials are the medium of teaching activities and play an important role in teaching. The selection and arrangement of the textbook content has an important impact on Chinese teaching in primary and secondary schools, and must conform to the students'cognitive laws and reflect the scientific nature. This thesis takes the whole set of pupil Chinese textbooks complied by Ministry of Education as the research object, and uses the research methods of corpus linguistics to comprehensively investigate the word volume, word types, word frequency and frequency section distribution of the textbook.Comparing the words in textbooks complied by Ministry of Education with the PEP textbooks and the"List of Common Vocabularies for Compulsory Education(Draft)" to examine whether the arrangement of the words in the textbooks has basic and normative features, and whether it conforms to the students' cognitive development law.In addition, some high-frequency words and emotional words in the textbook were extracted and compared with the statistical results in a large-scale corpus to comprehensively analyze whether the word collocations in the textbook are consistent with the usual word collocations.Chpater 1 summarizes the research status of vocabulary statistics in Chinese textbooks, and on this basis, puts forward the research questions and research objects of the text, and clarifies the research significance and research methods of this text.Chpater 2 makes statistics and explanations on the overall vocabulary in the Chinese textbooks of elementary schools compiled by Ministry of Education.First, input the texts of the Chinese textbooks complied by Ministry of Education into the computer and segment the raw corpus, then count the total number of words, types of words, and the number of new words in each volume of the textbook.Analyze the overall distribution and change trend of the words in each textbook, and compare their growth rates.Secondly, carry out word frequency statistics on the vocabulary of the textbooks compiled by Ministry of Education, list the top 100 high-frequency words and randomly select 100 low-frequency words, and analyze their part of speech and frequency segment distribution. The results show that the volume of words and words in the textbooks of primary school Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education does not show a rule from less to more;the top 100 high-frequency words in the text are mostly from the "List of Common Vocabularies for Compulsory Education(Draft)" First-level words;low-frequency words are numerous and dominated by nouns.Chpater 3 firstly compares the common texts of the primary school Chinese textbooks compiled by Ministry of Education and the PEP version.Investigates whether there are differences in the choice of words in the common texts of the two, analyzes the reasons for the changes, and evaluate their rationality.Secondly, compare the text vocabulary and its appendix "Vocabulary List" with "List of Common Vocabularies for Compulsory Education(Draft)".The study found that the general edition of the Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education has not changed much, but some irregular expressions in the textbook of the People's Education Edition have been adjusted;the textbook and its appendix "Vocabulary List" have some words that exceed the requirements of the vocabulary.Chpater 4 extracts some high-frequency nouns, adjectives and adverbs in Chinese textbooks, and compares their word collocations in the text with the collocations based on large-scale corpus statistics. In addition,it also analyzes the semantic rhyme tendency of some emotional words in elementary school Chinese texts. The results show that high-strength collocations with MI values?3 of some high-frequency nouns and adjectives in the textbook are inconsistent with the search results of the large-scale corpus.
