Inferiority is the result of comparison between individuals and social environment in life.It starts when the individual first contacts and interacts with the environment.Excessive inferiority will not only affect students' academic performance, but also affect their mental health. This paper USES the perspective of social comparison to define self-abasement,in line with the psychological characteristics of junior middle school students, and studies the attention bias of junior high school students with different levels of self-abasement,which is a supplement to the study of self-abasement.The attention bias training is used to improve the attention bias of junior high school students with high inferiority level and reduce the inferiority feeling of junior high school students with high inferiority level, which may provide some new ideas for improving the inferiority feeling of junior high school students with high inferiority level. In experiment 1,the attention preference of junior high school students with different levels of inferiority was studied by using stimulus with different evaluation meanings and point detection paradigm. The results showed that junior high school students with high level of self-abasement had attention bias to negative stimuli.Middle school students with low self-abasement have no attention bias to neutral stimulus and negative.Experiment 2 used ABM to train the training group. The results showed that after ABM training, the attention bias score, attention relief score and inferiority were significantly reduced in the training group.Conclusions:(1)middle school students with high self-esteem have a tendency to pay attention to negative information;(2)attention bias training can correct the attention bias of junior high school students with high inferiority level to negative information;(3)the inferiority complex of junior high school students with high inferiority level can be improved by attention bias training;(4)attention bias training improves the ability of junior high school students with high self-esteem to release negative information.
