Ellipse in high school mathematics is a compulsory subject in the elective course and an important part of plane analytic geometry.The ellipse has a rich practical background,In the motion of celestial bodies,the orbits of many planets are almost ellipse,so Kepler discovered the law of planetary motion;In architecture,the shape of the many buildings are in accordance with the elliptical shape design;In physics,the optical properties of the ellipse are also widely used,such as the light from one focal point of the ellipse hitting the ellipse and then passing through the other focal point after reflection.The reflector shaft section of the light bulb on the movie projector is part of the ellipse.Therefore,the ellipse plays a very important role in depicting the real world and solving practical problems,and it appears as the final question in the high examination questions every year,occupying a large score.The 2017 edition of the general high school mathematics curriculum standard points out that students should collect and read the development process,important conclusions and main characters of the ellipse,master the definition of the ellipse,standard equations,flexibly use the simple geometric properties of the ellipse,and further understand the combination of number and shape.In this paper,the ellipse related problems in high school mathematics are deeply explored,combined with the last six years of the college entrance examination of the real analysis,summed up the corresponding problem solving methods,and gave teaching Suggestions.First,three important period to explore the development course of ellipse;Then combing the nearly six years of 2014-2019 in the college entrance examination questions,all questions about the ellipse and the examination site,inductive distribution;Then the paper analyzes and solves the typical problems of the same type in the paper by the combination of number and form,function and equation,and the mathematical thoughts of classification discussion,and summarizes the ideas and methods of solving the problems.Finally,through the analysis of small pair teaching put forward the corresponding suggestion,in the teaching process from the student reality,establish reasonable situation,construction of new knowledge in the students the original experience,in accordance with students’ cognitive;Improve the teaching mode,make good use of multimedia technology,make the classroom content become intuitive and interesting,so as to highlight the focus of knowledge;Pay attention to the infiltration of mathematical methods in teaching,give full play to the position of students,and design teaching programs according to this,so that the teacher’s teaching objectives are prominent,students’ learning purposes are clear.In this paper,from the exploration of the development of ellipse,to summarize the corresponding problem-solving methods,and then to the design of teaching cases,in order to provide a certain reference for students’ problem-solving and teachers’ teaching,to broaden the vision of teachers and students,for high school mathematics teaching to make their own contribution.
