The Mathematics Curriculum Standard of Compulsory Education(2011Edition)clearly puts forward four bases,and the model thought is not only one of the basic ideas,but also an important part of the three basic ideas of abstraction and reasoning.The formation of model thought promotes the development of mathematics and establishes the connection between mathematics and the real world.Mathematical thought is the soul of mathematics and plays an important role in mathematics learning.Therefore,the application of model thought in primary school mathematics teaching can not be ignored.The research mainly adopts the literature research method and the case analysis method,combs the related literature of the model thought in the elementary school mathematics teaching and analyzes the typical case of the "statistics" unit part in the one teacher one excellent course platform.This paper is mainly divided into four parts: First of all,from the model thought in primary school mathematics teaching related theoretical basis,concept definition and modeling teaching process.Secondly,it is found that in the mathematics teaching of primary school,the situation created is not easy to be accepted by the students,the consciousness of mathematical modeling is vague and the application of mathematical model is not flexible.Thirdly,it is found that the integration of model thought in mathematics teaching in primary school is limited,teachers' grasp of model thought is not comprehensive,and teachers' attention to modeling teaching is insufficient.Finally,the paper puts forward the application strategy of model thought in primary school mathematics teaching from the aspects of paying attention to the creation of problem situation,improving the consciousness of mathematical modeling and strengthening the application of mathematical model.The formation of mathematical model in primary school is helpful to improve students' ability to find and solve problems,so as to cultivate students' innovative consciousness.Through the analysis of a large number of teaching videos,teaching design and classroom record,this paper summarizes the problems and solutions of model ideas in mathematics teaching in primary schools,and provides guidance suggestions for primary school.
