Geometrical intuitive ability is one of the basic abilities that need to be cultivated in mathematics teaching.Many practices have been carried out in mathematics teaching by introducing mathematical experiments into mathematics teaching.This research focuses on the geometrical intuitive ability of the sixth grade students,taking the 'circle and fan' of the sixth grade of Shanghai Education edition as the teaching content,adopting the teaching method of mathematical experiments,combining the geometrical intuitive ability of the students,studying how mathematics teachers cultivate students' geometrical intuitive ability through mathematical experiments.It mainly studies three questions:(1)What is the current situation of geometrical intuitive ability of sixth grade students?(2)What is the function of mathematics experimental teaching applied to the cultivation of geometrical intuitive ability?(3)What are the practical training suggestion for the application of mathematics experimental teaching in the cultivation of geometrical intuitive ability?Through the analysis of literature research review,combined with teaching practice and students' characteristics,the cultivation of geometrical intuitive ability is divided into four aspects: holistic thinking,representation transformation,associative thinking and geometrical transformation.According to literature analysis,based on the theory of Van Hiele geometrical thinking level,the geometrical intuitive level of sixth grade students was investigated and studied.The investigation found that:(1)Most of the sixth graders' geometrical intuitive ability is at the third stage of Van Hiele's geometrical thinking level,and only a few of them are at the fourth stage of Van Hill's geometrical thinking level.(2)Grade six students have primary ability of holistic thinking,geometrical transformation and representation transformation.But the ability of related thinking is poor.Through the analysis of teaching cases and the results of interviews with teachers and students,it is concluded that:(1)mathematics experimental teaching can improve students' learning efficiency,hands-on operation ability and cooperative learning consciousness.(2)mathematics experimental teaching can promote the development of students' overall thinking,representation transformation,correlation thinking and geometrical transformation ability.Especially the development of representation transformation,associative thinking and geometrical transformation ability.According to the results of investigation and case study,the following suggestions are put forward on the cultivation of mathematical experimental teaching applied to the cultivation of geometrical intuitive ability:(1)Use intuitive models and pictures to cultivate the overall sense of representation.(2)In teaching,students should give more play to their subjective observation consciousness,and draw mathematical conclusions by generalizing and summarizing.(3)Improve students' abilities in drawing,drawing,and symbolization(4)Guide students to explore independently and develop experimental tools(5)Pay attention to the penetration of mathematical ideas and methods such as analogy,and guide students to think about the relationship between different geometric objects.(6)Use the combination of number and shape to guide students to understand new knowledge and solve problems.(7)Attach importance to the integration of information technology and experimental teaching to help solve geometric difficulties.
