To cultivate and improve students' geometric intuitive ability is the basic requirements of high school mathematics in the "ordinary high school mathematics curriculum standard(Experiment)" in 2003,with the aid of the geometry to reveal the nature and relationship of the research object,and to make the study context clearly presented in front of us,and the goal is make the students to understand and grasp the research object from the essence.This article study the geometric application in mathematics teaching in high school by using the literature research method,investigation method,interview method,case study method and action research method.We have a questionnaire and interview survey about the geometric intuition in application of mathematics teaching in senior high school in fourteenth middle school of Yueyang,and after that we have a in-depth analysis from the double perspective "learning" and "teaching".statistical analysis of survey results showed that both students and teachers are sure that geometric intuition is helpful for learning and teaching in high school;students are not clear enough about understanding of geometry the intuition,teachers are not deep understanding of geometric intuition;the application of geometric intuition is not comprehensive in mathematics teaching in high school.It analyzed that the main factors affecting the application of geometric intuition in high school mathematics teaching: paying less attention to geometric intuition in mathematics teaching in senior high school;lack of practical application strategy of geometric intuition for mathematics in senior high school.According to the results of investigation and analysis,combined with the main factors of the application of geometry intuition in high school mathematics teaching and the teaching content of high school mathematics,aiming at the application of geometry intuition in high school mathematics teaching,this paper puts forward three application strategies from concepts,principles and exercises about the geometry intuition.
