In High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition),the core literacy of mathematics are defined as mathematical abstraction,logical reasoning,mathematical modeling,intuitive imagination,mathematical operation and data analysis,they are the concentrated embodiment of the educational value of mathematics.In brief,improving core mathematics literacy is to “learn to observe the world mathematically,to analyze the world mathematically,to express the world mathematically”.It's necessary for students,who want to observe the world mathematically,to have the ability to discover and raise questions from a mathematical point of view.It seems that there exist some kind of relationship between mathematical problem-posing ability and mathematical literacy,and the exploration of the relationship has both theoretical and practical significance.The research focus on three problems:(1)How's the overall mathematical literacy of senior three students?(2)How's the overall mathematical problem-posing ability of senior three students?(3)Whether there exists correlation between senior three students' mathematical literacy and mathematical problem-posing ability?120 senior three students from K School in Shanghai are taken as the test objects,their mathematical literacy and mathematical problem-posing ability are quantified by written examinations.As the tool of the research,Estimation Questionnaire of Mathematical Literacy and Estimation Questionnaire of Mathematical Problem-posing Ability are edited,and a daily test paper is also been used.By analyzing the test data,the conclusions are as follows:(1)On the whole,senior three students show good behavior on the core literacy of mathematics,among which mathematical abstraction is the best,followed by mathematical operation,logical reasoning,intuitive imagination,mathematical operation and data analysis,of which the behavior on data analysis is generally poor.There are no significant differences in each mathematical literacy or overall performance among senior three students of different genders.There are significant differences in mathematical abstraction,mathematical modeling,intuitive imagination,mathematical operation,and overall performance.(2)On the whole,senior three students show good behavior on mathematical problem-posing ability,they are able to pose relatively complex and novel mathematical problems,but problems are not good in quantity,solubility and language expression.There are no significant differences in the overall performance or the quality dimension among senior three students of different genders,but there is significant difference in quantity dimension.There are significant differences in overall performance,the quantity dimension and the quality dimension of the senior three students in different class.(3)The correlation coefficient between the core mathematical literacy and the mathematical problem-posing ability of senior three students is 0.201.The correlation coefficient between the core literacy of mathematics and the quality dimension of problem-posing of senior three students is 0.181,and the correlation coefficient between the core literacy of mathematics and the complexity of the posed problems of senior three students is 0.244,and the correlation coefficient between the core literacy of mathematics and the language expression of the posed problems of senior three students is 0.0.239.The correlation coefficient between the mathematical problemposing ability and mathematical modeling literacy of senior three students is 0.180,and the correlation coefficient between the mathematical problem-posing ability and mathematical operation literacy of senior three students is 0.258.In addition,the nonstandardized regression equation of the total score of core literacy of mathematics(x)and the total score of mathematical problem-posing ability(y)is: y=0.139*x+25.158,and the non-standardized regression equation of the total score of mathematical problem-posing ability(x)and the total score of core literacy of mathematics(y)is:y=0.305*x+61.512.
