Labor education is an important part of the socialist education system with Chinese characteristics.The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the "Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening Labor Education in Colleges,Middle Schools and Primary Schools in the New Era" on March 26,2020.The state has put forward new requirements for school labor education in the new era.The main research of this article is the status quo and existing problems of primary school labor education.It mainly investigates whether the school organizes students to participate in daily labor,service labor and production labor in addition to learning textbook knowledge,whether the school allows students to receive appropriate exercises,hands-on participation in practical activities,and whether the school has established correct labor values and good values for students.The quality of labor;whether through various labor education methods,improve the self-service awareness of primary school students,master basic labor knowledge,make students love labor,have a correct understanding of labor,and respect every ordinary worker.Therefore,the current situation of labor education covered by this research includes four dimensions: the form,content,principles,and effects of labor education.This article adopts the literature method,questionnaire survey method,and interview method.Based on a large amount of literature analysis,combined with questionnaire survey and interviews,we find out the following problems in current primary school labor education:the form of labor education is not standardized;the content of labor education is not comprehensive;Teachers do not fully control the principles of labor education;primary school students do not fully understand labor.After analysis,the reasons for these problems are: the school's labor education goal is not clear;the lack of fixed labor education teachers;the lack of family labor education;the lack of campus labor culture construction;the organizer's lack of practical action ability.Finally,the following implementation countermeasures are proposed: First,clearly regulate the requirements of labor course.Second,promote the diversification of labor education evaluation.Third,broaden the path of labor education.Fourth,construct a labor sequence that conforms to the characteristics of the academic stage.Fifth,clarify the goals of labor education.Sixth,improve teachers' labor education literacy.Seventh,get out of the misunderstanding of labor education.Eighth,infiltrate labor education in campus culture.
