In recent years, the number of divorced families across the country has continued to increase, and the number of single-parent families accompanying it has also increased correspondingly.Changes in family structure and changes in children's psychological state have increased the frequency of parent-child conflicts. For children from single-parent families, the increase in the frequency of parent-child conflict will affect their healthy growth, which will not only bring negative psychological effects to the child, but also hinder the development of a good parent-child relationship with the child. With the life and psychological changes brought about by the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the pressure on parents of single-parent families has increased sharply, the children's willingness to have their own space is strong, the contradictions between parents and children are increasing, the relationship between parents and children is tense, and the intervention of external forces is urgently needed Therefore,it is also of great practical significance to improve the problem of parent-child conflict in single-parent families. The Satya family therapy theory is an intervention model that focuses on the internal family system.Based on the interaction and communication within the family system,it can play a greater role in improving parent-child relationships and resolving family conflicts. Therefore, this article uses Satya family therapy theory to intervene in the problem of parent-child conflict in single-parent families.Based on this, this article first uses qualitative research methods and selects J Street in Linghai City as the research field to conduct interview research on multiple families in this street.Secondly, through literature research, three types of parent-child conflicts are identified: behavioral conflicts, verbal conflicts, and emotional confrontations,to understand the manifestations of parent-child conflicts from these three aspects.Thirdly, using the perspective of Satya theory to explore the causes of parent-child conflict from the perspectives of parents and children,it is believed that parents have low self-esteem,poor communication attitudes and unmet expectations, and children have an inner self.Strength and desire go unnoticed. Finally,a typical case was selected for individual case intervention, using tools and techniques under the Satya theoretical model to intervene in family problems, helping family members to improve parent-child conflicts, and trying to explore the role of Satya's theoretical model of family therapy in single parents.Advantages and applicability in family conflicts between parents and children.Through the intervention of this treatment process, the frequency of parent-child conflicts in the case family was significantly reduced, the parent-child relationship became harmonious and new communication rules were re-established.It can be found that in the context of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the issue of parent-child conflicts in single-parent families should be paid attention to,and family members should be guided to continuously try to make positive changes during the treatment process, change poor communication patterns, establish a high self-esteem sense of self-worth,and reduce conflicts. The expectations of others can greatly ease and reduce parent-child conflicts.
