The Joint Family Therapy Model In The Application Of The Single Parent Family Parent-child Relationship Adjustment

Since reform and opening up,the rapid development of socialist marketing economy and information technology and foreign culture have brought about a great impact on the traditional marriage values,which leads to a sharp increase in the number of divorce and single parent families.Besides,many other reasons such as accidents and premarital sex also contribute to the fact that an increasing number of children are living in single parent families,which has received much attention from all sectors of society.Related researches show that compared with those in unclear families,teenagers in single parent families always show worse performance in handling parent-child relationships and controlling themselves.The parent-child relationship is the most basic interpersonal relationships,ability to establish a good parent-child relationship has important implications in terms of personality development of young people,social interaction and the construction of a harmonious family,etc.By evaluating the problems of service objects,the main problem of this family is that the parent-child relationship is nervous.According to the analysis,the combined effects of these problems by teenagers themselves,father and other family members.Therefore,under the guidance of cognitive behavioral theory,ecological system theory and strength perspective,the research based on the Satire Model guided the teenager to face problems positively and helped correct the cognition and behaviors of the teenager by combining personal conversation and group conversation.Besides,the research adjusted the ill way of communication among family members based,which led to the shape of the favorable communication way,improved ability of communication and relieve the tight parenthood.Meanwhile,help teenager regain confidence and improve academic performance.After the intervention,in-depth interview and participant observation method are utilized to make an evaluation on assessment of family members to the service,talks on service effectiveness and the effects on the service object.According to the outcomes,the adjustment received a satisfying effect.Specifically,the teenager's misunderstanding of his father was removed,the interaction between he teenager and his father has increased and the relationship between them has been improved.Additionally,considering the Satir Model,role of social workers and ethical dilemma in service,a conclusion about social work was made that the Satir Model has pros and cons in the process of adjusting parenthood of single family.On the one hand,it is kind of a positive healthy model which relives the symptom of service objects,improves their ability of solving problems and advances the communal development of family members.On the other hand,affected by traditional values,many people reject the method which takes family members as service objects due to the fear of personal information exposure.This weakness may obstruct the implement of service.Under the Satir Model,social workers are mainly playing the role of therapists.However,they should adjust their roles instantly according to the situation of intervention,deal with the ethical dilemma in the service and keep in mind the rules in social work.Finally,the paper proposed and emphasized the combined effects of government,community and relatives.That is to say,relatives are encouraged to give concern to members in single families,which would help link family members.Besides,professional consulting and treatment systems in communities are supposed to be completed to meet various needs of children in single families.Then,government should accelerate the cultivation of talents in social working to gradually perfect the structure of social work in our country.What's more,relevant mechanisms should be developed in an effort to create an environment in which children in single families can grow healthily through the combined education of parents.
