With regards to the mathematics education.it carries the fundamental task of strengthening moral education and cultivating people.For mathematics education,not only can help students to master the mathematics knowledge,skills,ideas and methods necessary for modern life and further learning;but it can guide the students to observe the world with a mathematical perspective,think about the world with mathematical thinking,and to express the world in mathematical language.In the ‘General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)',there are six mathematical core literacy that are proposed in which mathematical abstraction is the basic idea of mathematics,which reflects the essential characteristics of mathematics.It runs through the process of the generation,development and application of mathematics.The level of mathematical abstract literacy determines the formation of other mathematical core literacy.It is an important basis for forming human rational thinking.It plays an irreplaceable role in the promotion of the intellectual development of individuals.Therefore,to have an understanding of the current situation of mathematics abstract literacy of high school students and to cultivate students ' mathematics abstract literacy in mathematics teaching are of great significance.Based on the above-mentioned background,in the paper,taking the formation class and the assimilation class of high school mathematics concept as the research carrier,taking high school students and teachers in Mudanjiang area as the test and interview subjects,literature,test,and interview methods are used to make a study,and the test is carried out from two angles.For the first angle,it is the four dimensions of the situation and problems,knowledge and skills,thinking and expression,communication and reflection of the abstract literacy in the ‘Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)',for the second angle.It is the conceptual assimilation ability,in which,it compiled a test paper to test students ' computing literacy level,the test data uses SPSS for statistical analysis,in combination with the interview results of math teachers,the following research conclusions are obtained.(1)Mathematical abstract literacy develops in all dimensions is unbalanced.(2)Students ' ability to solve problems in applying mathematical abstract literacy is insufficient.(3)The teaching strategies of cultivating students ' abstract mathematics literacy should be more enriched.In the end,in accordance with the test results,five teaching strategies are proposed on how to cultivate students ' abstract mathematics:(1)a rich situation is reasonably created to cultivate mathematical abstract thinking;(2)the thinking map is constructed to form a logical thinking ability;(3)activities are organized to reflect and communicate,and to train the mathematical language ability;(4)knowledge building system is transferred,improving conceptual assimilation capability and specific teaching case explanation is designed.
