Study On The Phenomenon Of Sports Discrimination In Primary And Secondary Schools

Sports discrimination on campus is the inferior concept of discrimination and sports discrimination,which refers to all kinds of unequal and unfair treatment in the school field due to sports.Most of the discriminators,caused by competition,preference,ignorance,and bad habits,treat the discriminated people unfairly and unequally in terms of ability,defect,social status,and emotional relationship.Explicit discrimination will attack and insult the discriminated party in work,emotion,speech,behavior,and other aspects,while implicit discrimination is hidden in the heart,unconsciously showing all kinds of contempt and differential treatment.Discrimination is ubiquitous.If it involves the evaluation of ability level or priority,discrimination will occur to a certain extent,only in different ways,degrees,and intensities.Physical education is an important part of Socio-cultural life,and it is often with "strong-weak","high-low" ability evaluation appears in people's production,life and learning.Inevitably,there will also be a variety of manifestations of discrimination such as sports discrimination caused by the different levels of the curriculum,neglect of sports work,and the sports level and ability in the school.Some of these discriminatory behaviors are explicit,attacking and injuring a lot,but most of them are implicit and exist in the school curriculum,sports activities,and causing harm to all kinds of people on campus by the discriminated party imperceptibly.To explore all kinds of sports discrimination phenomenon in primary and secondary schools,analyze its inducement and discuss the measures to eliminate it.This study through the literature material method,structured interviews,questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics,logic analysis,the method of circumstantial evidence.According to the principle of stratified classification and cluster random sampling to taking 5500 students and 500 teachers who come from 3 model high schools,4 city key middle schools,3 key primary schools 5 regular senior high schools,3 regular middle schools,3 regular primary schools,3 rural middle schools and 3 rural primary schools of Guilin,respectively.This study aims(1)to definite the sports discrimination and campus sports discrimination;(2)to cluster the types and injuries of campus sports discrimination;(3)to analyze the cause of campus sports discrimination;(4)to Eliminate campus sports discrimination phenomenon and the method.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:1.Campus sports discrimination is the lower concept of discrimination and sports discrimination,which refers to the unequal and unfair treatment that occurs in the school field.2.The phenomenon of discrimination in campus sports is generally manifested in four aspects: curriculum,work,interpersonal relationship,and speech attack.Among them,the sports discrimination in the curriculum is generally manifested as the occupation of physical education,mostly in the form of recessive.The lack of educational equity is caused by its destruction of teaching structure and occupation of educational resources;the discrimination in work generally shows that the problems of unfair allocation of resources and insufficient activities are caused by the lack of support and neglect of sports activities and sports work;the sports discrimination in interpersonal relations includes four specific manifestations: colleagues,peers,teachers and students,teachers and students,most of which are mostly caused by the lack of support and neglect of sports work It is not directly related to the quality of the interpersonal relationship,but it is related to the evaluation of sports ability and level.Sports discrimination in speech communication is mostly satirical,insulting,and offensive,which is the dominant existence,which has great harm to the discriminated.3.The research finds that the main causes of school sports discrimination are: the traditional Confucian culture thought of the emphasis on the concept of culture,the concept of examination-oriented education,the priority of subjects,the ability the evaluation of the superior psychology,the lack of the implementation of laws and regulations,sports resources distribution and personal values.4.Suggestions: to establish the health concept of "integration of body and mind",strengthen the construction of school education to physical education;improve the importance of quality education,encourage the coordinated development of the main and secondary departments;carry out the education of teachers' ethics and teachers' style,balance the relationship between efficiency and fairness;formulate complete sports-legal norms and guarantee system;establish the training and introduction mechanism of physical education teachers,and optimize the allocation of sports resources.
