With the progress of the times and the rapid development of informatization,the society urgently needs talents with comprehensive abilities and literacy.The traditional single-disciplinary education can no longer meet the needs of the society,and education is constantly reforming and innovating to meet the requirements of the new era.STEAM education is an education that advocates the integration of science,technology,engineering,art and mathematics,which pays attention to student practice and comprehensive quality and emphasizes the integration of multiple disciplines;the STEAM education concept is an education that uses the ideas of STEAM education in subject teaching.This kind of thinking method and the correct application of STEAM education concept to teaching are of great significance to talent cultivation.At present,high school biology teaching in China is still based on textbooks,ignoring the education of interdisciplinary knowledge and lacking the practice of applying the STEAM education concept.Bioinformatics is a multi-disciplinary fusion course proposed by the new curriculum standard to join high school electives.Infiltrating it into high school biology teaching can lay the foundation for students to further study and obtain professional skills,and it is also one of the ways to practice STEAM education philosophy.This research mainly adopts literature research method,questionnaire survey method,teaching test method,teaching experiment method and other research methods.This research is roughly divided into four parts: The first part is to understand the research progress of domestic and foreign STEAM education concepts and middle school biology through the literature research method.Informatics research provides theoretical support for this research;the second part is to analyze the connection between STEAM education philosophy and high school bioinformatics teaching and the feasibility of implementation,mainly using questionnaire survey and literature research methods;the third part is practical research,the author based on the STEAM education philosophy,select high school related content related to bioinformatics,formulate the teaching process,design the teaching plan,and carry out the implementation;the fourth part is based on the practical research results,analyzes and draws conclusions.Through this research,it can be concluded that it is feasible to infiltrate bioinformatics in high school biology teaching;high school bioinformatics teaching is suitable for adopting STEAM education concept;high school bioinformatics teaching under STEAM education concept is conducive to enhancing students' interest in learning;under STEAM education concept high school bioinformatics teaching is conducive to the development of students' comprehensive ability.In summary,in this teaching research,the author not only combines bioinformatics with high school biology,but also proposes educational concepts suitable for high school bioinformatics teaching,and designs STEAM teaching procedures and teaching cases,which can provide references for high school biology teaching reform and innovation.
