Adversative words are commonly used grammatical signs when expressing transition relations in complex sentences,and they play an irreplaceable role in achieving smooth connection and logical clarity of sentences.Since different adversative words have the same functions and differences in their use functions,even middle school students whose mother tongue is Chinese cannot fully grasp the rules of their usage,and they will inevitably make mistakes in their use.This thesis takes the adversative words as the research object.On the one hand,it examines the use of adversative words in the composition corpus of middle school students,summarizes the types of misuse,explores the reasons for the errors,and makes suggestions for the teaching of middle school students;on the other hand,it investigates the usage and acceptance of the usage of adversative words by different grops in society,analyzes the causes of errors,and makes suggestions for the standardization of adversative words.The full text is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is the introduction.It mainly introduces the basis of topic selection,research purpose,research status,research content and innovation points.The second chapter examines the use of adversative words in the composition corpus of middle school students.According to the part of speech and usage,the adversative words are classified and data statistics,and the use of different types of adversative words,characteristics,and habitual collocations of middle school students are analyzed.The third chapter summarizes the wrong types of adversative words and investigates the students' mastery of the usage of individual adversative words.Divide the errors into five types: wrong generation,wrong addition,omission,wrong order,and other five types,and carry out data statistics for each type of error and analyze with examples.The fourth chapter is a social survey on the usage of individual adversative words.Through the analysis of the survey results,it is found that the general public is not clear about the location rules of adversative words,and they have a higher acceptance of usage that does not conform to grammatical norms.The fifth chapter analyzes the reasons for the wrong use of adversative words among middle school students and the general public.Based on the above analysis,on the one hand,it puts forward reasonable suggestions for the teaching of adversative words for middle school students,reduces the error rate,and hopes to help improve students' reading and writing skills;On the other hand,it puts forward suggestions on the standardized use of adversative words,guiding everyone to pay more attention to transition related words,and improve the ability of expression and application.The sixth chapter is the conclusion.Summarize the main points and conclusions of the article,point out the shortcomings and areas that need improvement in the article,hoping to provide a reference for the teaching of transition related words and social norms.
