A Study On The Use Of Words In High School Composition

Words are the basic unit of meaning expression and an important part of language.As an important way of writing expression for senior high school students,composition can comprehensively reflect students' ability to master and use words.However,the current situation of the use of words in the composition of senior high school students is not optimistic.Therefore,the author takes 270 composition words from three schools in Zhangzhou area as the research object,and makes an analysis of the use of composition words by high school students.Firstly,in the aspect of the statistics and analysis of students' vocabulary,through the statistics of the word frequency,word length,word type and total word number of students' compositions,according to the statistical results to analyze the students' vocabulary of the three schools;Secondly,this paper analyzes the non-standard use of words in high school students' compositions,and classifies the non-standard types of words into words sound,meaning,part of speech,morphology and other types of errors.According to the different types of errors,statistical analysis is conducted to quantify the non-standard use of words in high school students' compositions.Through the analysis,it can be seen that the students' irregular use of words is related to the differences between schools and classes,and the differences between schools and classes have a certain impact on the students' use of words.Finally,on the basis of the statistics and analysis of students' vocabulary and the non-standard use of words,the teaching strategies are put forward from the aspects of combining the context,teaching,consolidating grammar knowledge,paying attention to accumulation,cultivating language sense and paying attention to the modification and evaluation of composition words.
