A Case Study On The Intervention Of Structured Family Therapy In The Reconstruction Of Bad Parent Child Relationship

Reorganized family has become a typical family type in the current era.Compared with original family,reorganized family has more complex family network,so it is easier to produce relationship conflict.And the parent-child relationship in the reorganized family is more fragile.If any parent-child system can not establish a good relationship after running in,the family parent-child system will have problems,and even cause the whole family discomfort.This paper focuses on the bad parent-child relationship of the reorganized family.From the professional perspective of social work,the author uses the structural family therapy model to intervene in the case of reorganized family with bad parent-child relationship,trying to solve the problems of alienation of parent-child relationship,joint confrontation of stepmother daughter relationship and triangle entanglement in the family,so as to reconstruct the family structure and eliminate the reasons behind the bad parent-child relationship.After receiving the case,the social workers met with the family members 12 times,including two informal contacts in the early stage and 10 formal talks between the social workers and the family.Specifically,social workers divide interventional therapy into four stages: joining the family to expand the chief complaint;presenting the structure with problems;reconstructing the structure to seek change;closing the case and withdrawing from the family.Finally,through the joint efforts of the social workers and the case family,the case family has made surprising changes: the case master accepted the new family,reconciled with his father and stepmother,and both sides reconstructed a close and harmonious parent-child relationship,while the case master's parents changed their inconsistent parenting attitude and unscientific parenting concept,and the four members of the family are making efforts to form a healthy interactive mode.Finally,the author summarizes the case work,discusses the professional strength of social work,the necessity of social work intervention in the restructuring of family parent-child relationship,and the fit of structural family therapy mode with this field,reflects on their own performance in the intervention,and discusses the influence of social workers' own quality and structural family therapy concept on the intervention effect.
