As one of the core qualities of the digital age,the cultivation of computational thinking satisfies the society’s needs for compound talents.How to cultivate students’ computational thinking under the support of the information technology environment has become a focus of the education community.However,as students are the main body of computational thinking training,research lacks attention to the learning needs of students with different learning levels.Based on this,this research takes the learning behavior data generated by students in the process of acquiring knowledge as the design starting point,and takes the push of learning activity types based on learners’ cognitive ability as the design key point to meet different learning needs and improve computational thinking ability.Point,design adaptive learning activities for the cultivation of computational thinking,and use database courses for practical evaluation to verify the effectiveness of adaptive learning activities for the cultivation of students’ computational thinking.The core question of this research: How to design adaptive learning activities to cultivate college students’ computational thinking? It includes three sub-questions:(1)How to build an adaptive learning activity model for the cultivation of computational thinking?(2)How to design adaptive learning activities for the cultivation of college students’ computational thinking?(3)What is the practical effect of adaptive learning activities for the cultivation of computational thinking in database courses? Research comprehensively uses survey research methods,action research methods and other methods to carry out research work.This research first analyzes the functions of four types of adaptive learning activities:self-explanation,effective examples,wrong examples,and problem-solving by combing through the literature.At the same time,it combines adaptive learning theory and constructivism theory to construct a computational thinking training The adaptive learning activity model provides theoretical basis and directional guidance for the design of adaptive learning activities.Secondly,combined with the model to determine the design ideas of adaptive learning activities,design the sequence of adaptive learning activities,adaptive learning strategies,adaptive learning activity processes and adaptive learning frameworks that meet database curriculum learning,and provide implementation for the next step of database curriculum classroom practice Basis and technical guarantee.This study selected 59 junior students from a university in Jiangsu Province as the empirical objects,and carried out the learning activity practice of the "Database Technology and Application" course.During the practice,the action research method was adopted and real-time adjustments were made based on the student learning behavior data recorded by the adaptive learning framework.The content of adaptive learning activities,and at the same time,the use of investigation and research methods to collect test data and computational thinking data of students participating in adaptive learning activities,etc.,to provide a basis for the evaluation and analysis of students’ computational thinking training effects.Then use paired sample T-test,qualitative content analysis,one-way analysis of variance and other statistical methods to deeply understand the effect of students participating in adaptive learning activities,and accurately evaluate the changes in students’ computational thinking,so as to verify that adaptive learning activities promote students’ computational thinking Effectiveness of capacity development.Finally,summarize and reflect on the research process.This research mainly draws the following conclusions: Generally speaking,adaptive learning activities have a positive effect on the cultivation of students’ computational thinking.Among them,the adaptive learning scaffold provides a good learning environment to cultivate computational thinking;the mastery and improvement of knowledge types change with the students’ learning level;the diversification of evaluation methods is an important basis for the cultivation of students’ computational thinking;learning behavior data Real-time monitoring is the key support for teachers’ teaching and the cultivation of students’ computational thinking.This research deeply explores the types of adaptive learning activities for cultivating computational thinking,rigorously designs an adaptive learning activity model that conforms to database courses,proposes design ideas for adaptive learning activities for the cultivation of computational thinking,and clarifies adaptive learning strategies and The sequence of learning activities provides theoretical guidance for the design of adaptive learning activities to promote the cultivation of computational thinking.
