Chinese is a practical course to learn the application of language.The core goal of Chinese teaching should be to cultivate students' ability to understand and use language,and the content and form of language should be the content of Chinese teaching.As a significant part of Chinese teaching in senior high school,the choice of novel text content is directly related to the achievement of students' learning goals.However,the efficiency of the current novel teaching is relatively low,most teachers still focus on the three elements of the novel to carry out static knowledge teaching or simply stay on the surface analysis of the text,without in-depth analysis and digging out the words of wisdom,so that it cannot give full play to the value of promoting the use of language in the pragmatic teaching of novels.Fiction is the art of language which full of people's words wisdom,learning novels,is to learn Chinese.So,only by promoting the pragmatic teaching of novel text from the perspective of novel words can we truly cultivate students' language comprehension ability,language expression ability and comprehensive language application skills,and then improve students' pragmatic accomplishment.As a result,the high school novel text should focus on language and characters for pragmatic teaching.Both pragmatics science and Chinese subject attach great importance to the comprehensive use of language and characters in specific situations and the grasp of their laws.In teaching activities,teachers should guide students to understand and appreciate the language in novels from the perspective of pragmatics to help students to grasp the language wisdom in novels,so as to cultivate students' ability to grasp the language understanding of novels.And it is also necessary to train and develop the language expression ability of primary school students in real activity situations.On the whole,teachers should focus on language and characters to analyzing the authors' skills in using language and words,so that students can master the basic knowledge of language and words in reading to solving the practical problems in life,so as to form personalized pragmatic practical ability.Based on the relevant theoretical knowledge of pragmatics and the author's teaching practice,this paper taking Unit 6 of the second volume of State-compiled Textbooks of High School as an example,analyzing the whole process of the pragmatic teaching of novel texts,including the setting of the theme and the teaching situation,the establishment of the objective(task)and content,the exploration of teaching activities and process,and the implementation of teaching evaluation.The introduction explains the reason and significance of this study firstly,then explains the concepts of relevant theories,finally makes an in-depth analysis of the existing research on novel teaching,pragmatic teaching and the pragmatic teaching of high school novel texts.On this basis,the research starting point and train of thought of this paper are clarified,that is,it focuses on the design and implementation analysis of the whole process of the pragmatic teaching of novels,rather than solely analyzing the teaching strategies or content selection strategies.The first part,discussing the basis of the pragmatic teaching of the novel text from the aspects of the Chinese curriculum standard and the core quality of the Chinese subject which they all point to the use of the language and characters of the students in the real situation.Secondly,it analyzes the pragmatic characteristics of novel texts,which is part of the value of developing the pragmatic teaching of novel texts.Thirdly,combined with the relevant literature on the current situation of high school novel teaching and the teaching cases of front-line teachers,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the teaching of novel texts in high school,namely the problems in the teaching content,the problems in the teaching subject and the problems in the teaching effect,so as to confirm the necessity of the pragmatic teaching of novel texts.The second part,analyzing the content and form of words in the novel with the theory of pragmatics.In order to solve the problems in the teaching content of novel texts,we can combine the theoretical language related to pragmatics with the teaching content of novel texts in high schools.Just start from the language,focusing on the words form and content of the novel,and solving the problem of the deviation in the orientation of the novel.The third part,taking Unit 6 of the second volume of the senior Chinese State-compiled Textbooks of High School as an example,discussing in detail the design and implementation process of the pragmatic teaching of novel texts.That is,how to set the theme and situation,how to determine the goal(task)and content,how to carry out the and process of teaching activities,and how to promote the effective implementation of teaching evaluation.The pragmatic teaching of novels should be guided by the theme and carried out in the activities under the real situation,which is helpful to solve the last two problems of the present situation of novel text teaching which are the lack of teaching subjectivity and the weak guidance of teaching reality.
