Media is closely related to the development of young people.It can be said that the history of the renewal and iteration of the media is the history that the way teenagers acquire knowledge,understand the world and shape their values changes with the media.Nowadays,audio-visual media represented by mobile phones,tablets and computers have been integrated into the whole process of young people's growth and development and play a crucial role in it.On the one hand,audio-visual media have opened new Windows for young people to know and understand the world.On the other hand,in the complicated audio-visual media environment,teenagers are also faced with a variety of potential dangers.Family,as the most frequent field of daily use of audio-visual media by junior high school students,will influence the use of audio-visual media by junior high school students to a certain extent,and thus exert a specific influence on the growth and development of junior high school students.Nowadays,the use of audio-visual media by junior high school students shows the characteristics of wanton and indulgence,while the influence of cultural capital has the characteristics of imperceptible.From the perspective of family cultural capital,the observation and research on the use of audio-visual media by junior middle school students will provide us with a different perspective,which can help us to see through and restore the relationship between the two,and re-understand the existence of cultural capital,children and media,media and education and other important issues.This article choose family cultural capital and as two of the fulcrum of audio-visual media use in junior high school students,junior high school students and their families as investigation object,through literature analysis,questionnaire investigation and interview method to the junior middle school students,in the form of audio-visual media use investigation,finally got the following results:(1)Of the junior high school students surveyed family cultural capital is generally low.(2)The audio-visual media "access gap" of junior middle school students has basically disappeared,and their audio-visual media use behavior shows a high degree of "autonomy" and a general characteristic of preference for short videos.In addition,this study also found that in different families,there are obvious familial differences in the audio-visual media use behaviors of junior high school students,which are reflected in three aspects :(1)The difference between creating and resolving conflicts in the role of audio-visual media in regulating parent-child relationship;(2)There is a difference between parents' positive control and laissez-faire attitude towards their children's use of audio-visual media;(3)The difference between the educational role of audiovisual media and that of audiovisual media is helpful and useless.From the description of the current situation to the review of the problems,this study found that :(1)In the practice of family audio-visual media,audio-visual media often cause parent-child conflict.(2)Although audiovisual media is both entertaining and educational,its educational function is obviously limited in practice.(3)Home audio-visual media practice creates educational inequality.In view of the above three problems,this study believes that the intergenerational differences in the digital era are the deep causes of parent-child conflict;In family media practice,the entertainment and educational suppression of audiovisual media are the factors behind the limitation of audiovisual media education function.The creation of new cultural capital by audio-visual media practices in the home is one explanation for the duplication of educational inequalities.Finally,based on the above problems and reasons,this paper puts forward targeted optimization suggestions.In terms of enhancing parent-child communication and promoting intergenerational integration,parents should share audio-visual media with their parents,and parents should actively seek role transformation.In terms of strengthening the orientation of audio-visual media education and giving play to the educational function of audio-visual media,it is suggested to construct a reasonable and orderly audio-visual media resource system,and use audio-visual media to carry out participatory and heuristic teaching.In order to optimize the family cultural capital and improve the quality of family audio-visual media practice,it is suggested to create a healthy and positive family media environment and reshape parents' media cognition and practice ability.
