With the increasing demands of high-quality comprehensive talents in society,school education needs to update teaching concepts and continuously deepen the reform of talents training models.The “Opinions on Deepening the Reform of Education and Teaching to Comprehensively Improve the Quality of Compulsory Education” has called for strengthening the main role of the classroom,optimizing teaching methods,insisting on mutual teaching,focusing on heuristic,interactive and inquiry teaching,and effectively improving the quality of classroom teaching.The “General Senior High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition 2020 Revision)” has clarified the sense of worth,essential qualities and key abilities which students should adapt to the needs of future social development,and has encouraged teachers to explore and develop effective classroom teaching models.Elemental compounds are the fundamental content of middle school chemistry,the cornerstone of the material world,and an important carrier for the development of students' core literacy in chemistry.Macro-identification and micro-analysis are unique perspectives for studying elemental compounds,which can promote the formation of students' macro-micro thinking and enhance their academic abilities.Therefore,it was of practical significance to study the teaching model of elemental compounds.supported by theories such as “constructivism theory”,“problem solving theory”,“cooperative learning theory” and “effective teaching theory”,and scientific methods such as literature analysis method,interviews method,and experimental research method were used in this paper.Secondly,the relevant literature was sorted out and analyzed,and the current research status of elemental compounds teaching and teaching models at home and abroad were learned about.The reasons for the topic selection,purposes and significance,methods and ideas were introduced,and according to the characteristics of chemistry disciplines,the concepts of “two threads”,“two auxiliaries”,“one chain” and“two threads,two auxiliaries and one chain model” were defined.then,in order to understand the current teaching situation of elemental compounds,some chemistry teachers in a certain city were interviewed to understand the teaching status of elemental compounds knowledge.Combining the teaching status of elemental compounds and existing research,“two threads,two auxiliaries and one chain” model was constructed,and the construction steps,basic characteristics,teaching strategies of the model,and the feasibility and necessity of applying the model to elemental compounds were mainly described.next,in order to verify the practical effect of the “two threads,two auxiliaries and one chain” model in elemental compounds teaching,three teaching cases of “chlorine and its compounds”,“iron and its compounds” and “sulfur and its compounds” were developed and carried out.Finally,the research results and shortcomings of this article were expounded.Practical research shown that the use of the “two threads,two auxiliaries and one chain” model in the teaching of elemental compounds can not only improve students' initiative in learning and promote the improvement of chemistry scores,but also stimulate students' interest in learning chemistry,enhance their experimental inquiry,problemsolving and thinking skills,and promote their development of core literacy.
