Research On The Application Of TPRS Teaching Method In Online One-to-one Chinese Teaching For Children

TPRS teaching method is a kind of behavior situation teaching method,the biggest characteristic of this teaching method is to emphasize the comprehensible input.The TPRS approach is based on stories and reading texts,on which teachers create vivid and interesting teaching situations,interspersing vocabulary and grammar learning throughout the story or reading text,use meaningful circular questions to implement teaching in combination with teaching situation.Students are able to accumulate and effectively use a large number of practical conversational languages,and in situations based on stories or reading texts,students’ interest in learning Chinese will also be greatly enhanced.The TPRS approach was initially used in Spanish language teaching and was later adopted in French,German,English and other foreign languages.In recent years,TPRS has been gradually applied to Chinese language teaching,especially in one-to-one Chinese language teaching for children.The thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,including the background and significance of the topic,the TPRS teaching method at home and abroad,as well as its on-line children one-to-one comparative analysis of the advantages of Chinese teaching.The second part is the summary explanation of TPRS teaching method theory and TPR teaching method theory,as well as the explanation of TPRS teaching method commonly used teaching mode.The third part takes Lingobus as an example to describe how TPRS teaching method is applied in online one-to-one Chinese language teaching for children.In addition,the advantages of TPRS teaching method in online one-to-one Chinese language teaching were verified again through the feedback analysis of questionnaire among parents,teachers and students.The fourth part is the thinking and suggestion of TPRS teaching method in online one-to-one Chinese language teaching for children.
