Deep learning has garnered increasing attention as an effective way in enhancing students' key competences amid educational reform.Problem situation teaching serves as an important way for better deep learning.With situational problems,it helps unleash students' motivation and guide them to deep learning strategies in exploration activities so as to address problems.As a result,students' higher-level thinking and cognitive development have improved further.Based on this,the study takes deep learning as the guidance of problem situation teaching,exploring the creation and application of problem situation targeting deep learning.The study first takes an approach of literature research to review research status and theoretical basis of deep learning and problem situation at home and abroad.It defines the connotation of deep learning and problem situation as well as analyzes characteristics of both within the context of key competency of biology.The study works out relevant questionnaire to conduct a survey among teachers as it seeks to understand the current situation of problem situation teaching.Descriptive statistics show that teachers generally recognized positive effect of problem situation teaching on students' deep learning,while expressing relatively weak activation of students' poor performance in classes;In terms of application of problem situation in classes,operational frequency of classroom introduction is the highest,followed by explanation of key and difficult points,then come the summary after class and overall teaching process.Thus it can be seen that the effect of problem situation teaching on stimulating students' motivation remains to be improved,marked relatively single application and poor performance on students' deep learning.For that reason,it has an important significance to conduct research on the creation and application of problem situation pointing deep learning.Secondly,the study has an analysis of strategies of problem situation creation pointing to deep learning from four perspectives:the choice of situation,the creation of cognitive conflict,the setting of problems and the achievement of moral education goals;It also discusses application strategies of problem situation pointing to deep learning in teaching from the building of situation,problem statement,problem solving and learning evaluation.On this basis,the study conducts teaching thoughts of problem situation pointing to deep learning,including the problem situation design and its specific application process in teaching.With "DNA acting as major genetic material" and "DNA's structure" as example,the study carries out relevant teaching design display.At last,the study designs test instruments of "Questionnaire on Deep Learning" and"Test paper on Cognitive Level",and checks positive effect of problem situation teaching on students' deep learning with quasi experimental research.The results show that:1.Problem situation teaching is conducive to improving students' deep learning,down to various dimensions,which is marked by great improvement in students' learning motivation and strategic application of deep learning;2.Problem situation teaching does not enhance students' scores of overall test significantly,while it helps them get higher cognitive development.In summary,teaching thought of problem situation in this study helps facilitate students' deep learning.'With literature research,investigation analysis and application,the study puts forward teaching thought of problem situation that can be employed in biology classroom teaching in senior high school and provides ideas and demonstration cases for teachers to conduct problem situational teaching in ways that boost students' deep learning.
