In elementary school mathematics,problem solving has always been a key point and a difficult point.At present,there are two main aspects of problem solving research,one is application and the other is understanding.From the perspective of understanding patterns,the mathematical formulation of problem solving plays a pivotal role in practical problems.Graphic expressions and text expressions are the most commonly used mathematical expressions to solve problems in textbooks and teachers' teaching,and the single and standardized mathematical expressions make students gradually lose interest in mathematical learning.On this basis,the impact of mathematical representation of problem solving on students' problem solving performance is studied.The research method mainly adopts the classroom observation method,the survey method and the interview method,and selects the problem solving in the field of "numbers and algebra" in the textbook of the second paragraph as an example,and studies from the two aspects of the most common expression method of solving the problem-the graphic expression method and the text expression method.On the one hand,the research is carried out on the way of graphic expression,and the influence of graphic expression on students'problem solving is understood according to the classroom record and the student's problem solving;On the other hand,the text expression method is studied,according to the curriculum standards of "number and algebra" course content is reasonably divided,the representative and in line with the student's knowledge reserve of the common quantitative relationship of the part of the "number operation",through the form of the test paper,the analysis of the student's paper situation and the difference in the solution of the problem,to further clarify the impact of the text expression on the student's solution.The study found that the graphic and text expression method is more intuitive,and by converting it to text expression,it can exercise students' information comprehension and integration ability and generalization ability,which is helpful for students to solve problems;The text expression method tests the students'thinking ability,and converting it into a graphic expression can clarify the connection between the condition and the problem;In the classroom,the text expression of the topic is often converted,which can understand the students' mastery of knowledge,cultivate the ability of students to learn from each other,and the conversion of the text expression has a certain impact on the students' problem-solving performance.Performance of research conclusions:Specifically,the way the graphics are expressed helps students solve the problem;The lower the grade and the lower the academic level,the greater the influence of the way the text is expressed on the student,and the more affected the solution of the problem by the girl than the boy.According to the conclusion of the study,the improvement strategy can be based on this:First,the teacher should pay attention to the understanding and grasp of the problem solving expression itself,and clarify the significance of the problem solving expression to students' learning and ability cultivation;Secondly,attach importance to the conception and innovation of the expression of problem-solving conditions,and cultivate students' ability to review and think;Third,strengthen the connection between problem solving and real life,and actually implement the concept of "mathematical life";Then,the mathematical formulation should conform to the students' cognitive development laws;Then,flexibly change the way of writing to solve the problem,cultivate and develop students'awareness and ability to transfer by analogy;Finally,for diverse students,using a variety of mathematical expressions of problem-solving,especially for girls in the lower grades,teachers need to pay more attention to teaching to ensure that each student is accurately developed.
