In recent years,although core literacy has become one of the hotspots of educational research at home and abroad,there is still a lot of research space for the investigation and research of core literacy in China.On the other hand,the sequence unit plays an important role in high school mathematics curriculum and covers all the core mathematical literacy except data analysis.The author carrys out the research through test method and interview method based on the sequence unit.the author lists the mathematical core literacy contained in the sequence unit,chooses the appropriate evaluation framework of mathematical core literacy,and according to this framework,compiles test questions with corresponding level.The author tests and interviews senior three students in Qingpu District Shanghai.Based on the results of the test and interview,the author analyzes the core literacy level of senior students in grade 3 in Qingpu District Shanghai and their puzzlement in solving problems,which provides a new perspective for the research of mathematics core literacy.The conclusions of this study are as follows.(1)The core mathematical literacy of senior three students in Qingpu District Shanghai is relatively good,and most of them have reached level 2.(2)School 1,school 2 and school 3 show an obvious decreasing trend in the performance of mathematical core literacy.There is an obvious gap between the three schools in terms of mathematical modeling and mathematical manipulation.(3)The complexity of the problem situation,the inability to mathematical manipulation,the lack of knowledge and the self-confidence are the important factors restricting the performance of students' mathematical core literacy.On this basis,the author provides feasible suggestions for the front-line teaching based on mathematical core literacy.
