In order to meet the needs of social development,with the unremitting efforts of many experts,the Biology Curriculum Standards for General Senior High School(2017 Edition)has been issued,which has modified and improved part of the content,and also put forward higher requirements for model construction teaching.Conceptual model,physical model and mathematical model are all important parts of the teaching system of biological model construction in high school,among which conceptual model plays an important role in helping students understand important concepts and cultivating scientific thinking.In order to understand the existing problems in the current teaching of conceptual model construction,this paper conducts a review and collection of relevant literature,and designs the corresponding student questionnaire and teacher interview outline.Through the collection and sorting of relevant literature,it is found that China still pays more attention to the teaching of model construction,especially the teaching of physical model and mathematical model construction.With the progress of curriculum reform,teachers pay more and more attention to the teaching of conceptual model construction,and the frequency of its use in class also increases gradually.Since there are many kinds of conceptual models and their construction is relatively complex,this paper designs a questionnaire for students and an interview outline for teachers to find out the problems existing in teaching.Through the collection of students' questionnaires and the analysis and sorting of the data,it is found that there are some problems to be solved in the teaching of conceptual model construction.First,as can be seen from the statistical data,some students have a low degree of participation in class and their interest in modeling needs to be improved.Secondly,some students have poor model building ability.Third,lack of application and migration model awareness.Then,after analyzing the interview outline of teachers,we found the following problems: first,the construction of conceptual model is not widely implemented in high school biology class,mainly because of the lack of relevant training,and the lack of corresponding teaching design and teaching process;Second,although teachers attach great importance to the cultivation of higher-order thinking such as students' transfer and integration,it is still difficult to cultivate the above abilities frequently in daily teaching.In view of the above problems,this paper summarizes and designs the teaching steps of conceptual model construction integrating the concept of deep learning :(1)create a large context to activate the prior knowledge;(2)Data analysis to obtain new knowledge;(3)Deep processing of knowledge,construction and improvement of models;(4)Application and migration of the model.Based on this teaching procedure,a standardized lesson example is constructed.This article selects the two parallel classes to contrast experiment teaching,to determine whether to apply the teaching steps in the actual teaching can get ideal learning,through classroom observation and analysis found that student performance,experimental class result is much better than that in comparative classes,and explain the teaching steps in improving student achievement and promote students on knowledge transfer and application effect.Due to the short duration of the experiment and the small group of questionnaire distribution,the experimental results have certain limitations.However,the author will broaden the teaching content and objects in the later teaching to better explore the scope of its application.
