To meet the requirements of the new era,General high school biology curriculum standard(2017 Edition)has been enacted.It draws new and higher demand in biology teaching of the first line.In the requirements of "standard",teachers should guide the students to understand the modeling and the scientific methods of modeling in the teaching,so as to cultivate the scientific thinking of the students.Along with the development of the age,the modeling capabilities has become an essential ability for the students to engage in scientific research in the future.There into,as an important part of the high school model construction system,conceptual model is of great significance for understanding biological concepts and cultivating students' scientific thinking.Firstly,we start from the present situation of conceptual models at home and abroad,try to define the related concepts of the conceptual model through consulting documents,and analyze the problems existing in the conceptual model at the present stage by combining the data.And then summarize the build steps of the conceptual model:(1)Identify the object and defining the characteristics;(2)Create a framework and build the outline;(3)Rationally distribute and build up connections.(4)To revise and improve,then draw the model.At the same time,it takes related contents of hormone regulation in steady-state and environment of the high school biology textbooks,for instance.Build two normalize concept models such as the source and effect of the blood glucose and maintaining blood glucose.It aims to provide a demonstration for first-line teachers.Secondly,during the internship period in Herman Gainer Middle School in Fushan District of Yantai City,I choose the two subjects of high school biology textbook of the people's education press which are light and Photosynthesis and cell respiration as the conceptual model.We found two problems through the classroom observation of educational practice.One is conceptual model building is not standardized and the construction link is in complete.The other is that correlation between the conceptual model and the three-dimensional object is not well.Then,based on the build steps of the standardized conceptual model and combined with the problems existing in classroom observation,the teaching is implemented in Herman Gainer Middle School in Fushan District of Yantai City.Take class 5 and class 11 in year 2017 as object,and carry out model teaching by selecting the subject of module in ‘molecular and cell' in the senior high school biology textbook of people's education publishing house.In order to ensure the scientific standard of teaching implementation,the course example of teaching implementation is designed first before implementation,and then modified and perfected on the basis of the evaluation of expert and peers.In the course of implementation,Class 11 are control class which is carried out the routine teaching,and Class 5 is the experimental class,which is carried out the standardized concept model teaching,and then it conducts classroom evaluations separately from the perspectives of the three dimensional goal achievement degree,the concept model construction link and the classroom atmosphere and so on,so as to verify the feasibility of the conceptual model in practical teaching.The results show that classroom teaching in experimental class is very favorable for the students to master the systematic knowledge due to the usage of the construction of standardized conceptual model.It is obviously surpasses the control class in the ability goal and the achievement degrees of emotion goal.At last,this study looks forward to the implementation of conceptual model teaching in biology teaching in senior high school,including the object of implementation,lesson selection,class type and so on.
