Education equity is an important foundation of social equity,and the key of education equity is opportunity equity.Opportunity to Learn(OTL)is one of the components of educational opportunity.It is the basic condition to ensure students to achieve the expected academic level.Liang Guancheng pointed out that OTL have changed the way of thinking about the factors affecting students' performance,as an effective tool to understand the status of domestic mathematics curriculum.Based on the relevant research at home and abroad,this paper defines the connotation of OTL in this study,and constructs an evaluation framework with three primary dimensions and 10 secondary dimensions.Then,a questionnaire was designed to investigate the current situation of senior high school students' mathematics OTL in 8 classes of 6 senior high schools in Nanjing.By integrating the methods of quantitative and qualitative research,this study analyzes the correlation between OTL and academic performance.Finally,according to the research conclusions,the corresponding suggestions are put forward.The conclusions of this research are as follows:(1)There is no difference in gender and subjects,but there is difference between different schools;(2)There is a significant and positive correlation between mathematics OTL and academic performance,which is reflected in two aspects: OTL for students to contact the curriculum content and OTL provided by teachers through teaching behavior;(3)From the 10 connotation dimensions of OTL on the impact of academic performance,mathematics basic skills and learning evaluation play a leading role in the impact of students' academic performance.In view of the above situation,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)We should strengthen the construction of teachers to promote the realization of fair OTL;(2)We should optimize the academic evaluation mechanism to push back the implementation of “Four Basics” mathematics teaching.
